Last time I looked into SatInet it was HS down and the DL cap was horrible, and Dialup (ie. sending page requests and emails) for the upload...... Not sure if that still is the case but I looked into it for a family members cottage a couple years ago... and I dont recall hearing of Sat 2-way (meaning up and down) as of yet... but I could be wrong....( /me searches Slashdot ) If you like I can do a bit of looking and let you know in further detail what your looking at.. Well I was out on the lake from 10am till 5pm and got into a mess of Perch, I would say 120 in total however they were dinks, only landed 3 over 10" to be honest I was getting annoyed with the constant dinks slamming my jigs towards the end, 3 Crappie were landed and released to swim another day. I was fishing 15 FOW.. the weather would have been alot nicer had the wind died down a bit.. Anyways i just thought I would let those of you going tommorrow know what was going on.. Ok this is my first time considering using maggots for ice fishing... I picked up a hundred or so... 50 pink 50 white... Now I have never used maggots before... Do you use them with a small tube to tip the jig? Do you use them on a bare jig? or do you use them in a different way? also what is the preferred way to hook them? Thanks for any advice! Gerritt.

Hmmm... I was just looking at the list.... interesting.. is it just me or does it seem as though every year it gets less and less fishing related? I mean a Baked goods and deli booth? corn on the cob.ca?? and a ton of resorts... mind you I like looking at the brochures. But will probably never book with most of them... I do see Aaron has a seminar... Aaron what day will it be and around what time? whatever happened to getting a bargin on fishing stuff? To be honest I dont think from my previous experiances at the Spring Show, I dont see the deals being that substantial...and surely once you factor in the drive and the admission many times you pay more! I see fishing world is there I should ask em what sorta deals they plan on having to decide weather the trip to toronto and 12 bux is worth it. Just my thoughts.... Gerritt.

Rob Hyatts are pretty well Equiped all you need to bring is your own bedding some food and some small assorted jigs etc.. Bait is available through him as well... His huts do come with tipups, but I would suggest a couple of Jigging rods from CTC or something they can be had fairly cheap 20.00 a peice for a combo or something like that... he supplies transportation to and from the huts.. The only thing I cant rememeber is if the propane stoves are included or not. Rob Hyatt is the way to go... And no you not like alot of woman Jil101 Thats what makes AWESOME! could you give my other half a few lessons?
