My hope is that we can get 2-3 people that can drive or as many as required to get people there and carpool to help save on expenses involved.... Perhaps one of the Guys out east (Toronto area) will be interested as well and will take a few with him (or Her) as of right now it looks like I have one person in my truck... If not enough people are interested from this area (easier for me) then by all means we will work something out Or Perhaps you could offer to be a driver yourself to help out others in your area? I am wanting to hit Quinte next weekend (I am thinking Saturday), I have room for 3 guys and Gear (just dont bring your entire apartment) in my truck and am willing to do the driving... Just share the expenses (Gas, Bait etc...) Anyone else that is interested should also join us?? we chould get a mini OFC Gathering together and see if we can put some eyes on the ice.. Anyone interested? Anyone local to Hamilton/Burlington need a ride? and willing to share expenses? I would like to leave my front door early around 3-4am to be there for first light and leave the ice around 5pm Well let me know if there is any interest! Gerritt.

Well we could setup a road trip for a couple OFC'rs to head over there... i would be willing to drive (Pickup with hard tonneau for Gear) and the people that come share expenses...Gas, Bait etc.... makes it easier on everyone say 3-4 guys? They are unique to every ticket, and are followed by a series of numbers... these two things are basically your ticket... and who knows who is reading this site.. it is not the members I am concerned with... but the lurkers, who knows there are people out there that are counterfiters... and there have been issues with counterfit Leafs tickets in the past. Funny you should mention that.. just the other day I had to call Bell to have my grandfathers internet account unlocked..(new subscriber) and after all the security stuff she started asking me about the weather here... so I told her I asked her what her weather was like... she said +30!!!! I nearly had a fit!!! here it is -20 and wasnt expecting her response... I asked her where she was... she told me he was in India... seems even mah bell has moved offshore. Gerritt.

No unbelieveably! there were quite a few surrrounding us... we were 10-15 feet from the "danger line" exactly were I was the day before infact I used the same hole! LOL most were just behind us and beside us.... There was another OFC'r there, Buddy (a new guy)... he told me via PM he was there but didnt find us... there was very little caught by anyone, on the way back to the truck I talked to a few guys in other huts, in varying depths and the same thing was reported... I wonder if they moved to the "top" end of the lake. Gerritt.

Follow Spiels advice CLOSELY! he knows what he speaks... and he is indeed correct... I have quite a few "junk" rods... including the Ugly Stick" and they are just that....Capital J "unk" once you hold a rod that is designed for a specific purpose you will understand what I mean.. They better the rod IMHO the better the quality of build and the warranty to back it up. Just my 0.02 cents Gerritt.
