  4. And nothing you say here will have ANY bearing on the relationships Mike has made on OFC he is a WELL respected member on this board well before you came on with your 2nd post..... I was on the river the day Nate was... and HE is one of the reasons I feel the way I do about the so called purists.. he was there with 4-5 other guys all posing for the camera when fighting a fish..and I mean posing like he was a darn supermodel... they were tromping up and down the river screwing up other people drifts.. in general a PITA... with all his years of experiance... he has alot to learn in the way of respect... Ohhh yeah and BTW... That really is me in the background.. laughing my ass off at him, as others give him the finger... saw it all day long from numerous anglers... Gerritt.

  9. forgive my ignorance.. croker?? These were only a few we caught... we were up there in Killarney for a week (Work project on my Bosses place) and went out in the evenings when we found the time.. I found a huge hump from 50-4 foot of water on the opposite side of the island.. all fish were caught trolling body baits.. we did extremely well, 5 fish per man inside 1 hour was not uncommon.. very few went on the stringer.. mainly one fish on the last day or two as the guys wanted to bring one home to share with the family.. we did have fish one night while there though.. HH knows the place well.. Gerritt.

  13. Mike, I did not find your comments regarding my post last year harsh at all.. it was your opinion and you were entitled to it. nor did I jump down your throat over it either... Infact I valued your insight and I still do. Keep posting whatever you want to share and to hell with the naysayers... I am still laughing at buddy giving the finger in the above pics and I was there behind him howling! great times on the river! PS.. Critic (sp?) me more... it might help me catch more fish! Gerritt.

  19. She will be a fine vessel Cliff..... The trailer was in bad shape... and was badly bent... and the frame/suspension was rubbing the inside of one tire... it has a odd suspension system to say the least.. the leaf springs are mounted to the axle... as opposed to the frame.... hard to explain.... The boat over all is in good shape, a couple dings here and there but nothing to be concerned about. The motor started just fine for me... once I got the primer hard.... seemed to take forever though!! the gas tank is up front! 15' of hose to pull gas through! LOL.. the motor was VERY clean under the cowling, the skeg had a ding in it nothing to hinder performance, Overall I think it will be a great little starter boat for Cliff and Carol!! and their thinking was in line with mine.. even if it lasts them a few years they are still saving money as opposed to renting a boat by the week @ Lakair for example... The water Cliff mentioned about.... I was just making sure the impeller was operational.. (I wasnt looking for cloudiness) I did ask about the lower end... perhaps there is the confusion as to cloudiness... It is a good rig for them IMHO and should serve them just fine for small inland lakes! Now.... I cant wait to see the reports from her!! Good job guys! and I look forward to seeing you guys in the VERY near future. Gerritt.
