  1. Sounds fine to me.
  2. Are you sure you don't mean gamey? Buffalo wings is fine with me.
  3. How's about the 477 Wing again?
  4. I am looking at the US route right now as well, and am finding that the exchange is taking away the savings. Mind you I am looking at mid-range boats. What and when did you buy Costa?
  5. Our budget is ~$1600 for the weekend. BIg bear does not rent by the weekend. That place would have fit the bill very well.
  6. Thanks Simon, but they don't appear to have large enough cottages.
  7. I am looking for a place to stay for a weekend, (arrive friday- leave Sunday), for a small family gathering. Just seven siblings and spouses for a total of 14 people ranging in age from early 50's the early 60's. We need to have a communal dining area, on the water, and nice amenities. We are looking at a mid Sept to mid October time frame. Anywhere within a 4 hour radius of Hamilton would be welcome on either side of the border. Thanks in advance for any advice.
  8. No dealer would be upset to answer a question regarding a purchase, the only stupid question is the one that is not asked. If we give you the wrong information, then you won't be able to dispute the supply of the motor if it turns out to be the wrong one for your needs.
  9. Here is 22 minutes take on the change: http://www.cbc.ca/22minutes/videos/clips-season-21/strombos-hockey-night-in-canada
  10. You're right, I did not have all the facts, I simply posted what information I had. However we have gotten a good discussion going now. Isn't that what is nice about this board?
  11. George Stroumboulopoulos is going to be the next host of Hockey Night in Canada replacing Ron Maclean. From the Spectators web site: George Stroumboulopoulos will reportedly be the next host of Hockey Night in Canada. TSN reporter Bob McKenzie tweeted that the CBC host of George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight will become the face of the show when Rogers Communications Inc. takes control of Canada's NHL broadcasting rights next season.McKenzie also reports the Coach's Corner segment will continue another two years.A spokesperson for Sportsnet declined to confirm Stroumboulopoulos is the new host.McKenzie says Ron MacLean, who has hosted Hockey Night in Canada full-time since 1987, will still be involved with a reduced role. But he makes no mention of commentator Don Cherry, who has popularized Coach's Corner since first appearing on it in 1980. Way to go Rogers!
  12. My butt cheeks clenched bigtime watching that. Seatbelts save lives!
  13. From the photograph it appears to be 2 x 8 rafters 24 on center, That is code. I think Gerrit would have a better handle on this than I.
  14. He has built with those guides already, and I have had the pleasure of using the rods. On a spinning rod they make an incredible difference, my next rod will have them. On a casting rod, they make a negligible difference, in my opinion. Garry builds a nice rod, and is able to customize it to your specific needs. There are other builders here that are equal in quality and knowledge, speak with all of them and get the rod of your dreams.
  15. I still remember the first time I met Roy - I walked up to him and said Hi, I'm...he cut me off looked me straight in the navel and said I know who you are. Then we had a beer together and told stories. He is a good guy, for a Quebec er, that is.
  16. If he was a psychic it would be described as a small medium at large.
  17. As OP I vote to shut her down.
  18. Those are just a touch redneck....I like ém.
  19. I would think that it may put too much strain on the transom. If he can raise the motor and maintain good cooling water flow, that may help performance.
  20. Looks very nice!
  21. A very good marine mechanic is Maximum Marine 1632 Wilson W, Ancaster, ON L9G 3K9, 905-304-5313
  22. Boatless *sigh*
