I don't know yet. I haven't opened it up yet, but based on the rods I see I would have to say no. Besides, I don't think they can make ME a STAND UP top. I'm bigger than your average bear.
Not an Ally, but SWMBO said I had to get an "Opa" boat. Suitable for grandkids. *sigh*
A fair price. One in which both the buyer and seller were happy with the resulting exchange.
Transom saver is inside and will be used faithfully.
In more ways than one, Wayne.
Well, I finally found the boat I have been seeking, and here it is:
It is a 17' Smokercraft powered by a 90hp Mariner main and a 9.9 four stroke kicker. Purchased from Bay City Marine within 2 hours of them taking it in on trade. Clarence was looking out for me.
I thought for those who would be interested, here are some detailed maps of Lake Erie: Eastern Basin: http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/mgg/greatlakes/lakeerie_cdrom/images/a9.jpg Central Basin: http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/mgg/greatlakes/lakeerie_cdrom/images/a8.jpg Western Basin: http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/mgg/greatlakes/lakeerie_cdrom/images/a7.jpg
Marine grade, by definition, has no voids, and is glued with a waterproof adhesive. So, I think pine could work as well.
Those who know more, please correct me.
This dealer and i sat in church together last Sunday, he knows what I am looking for and he knows my budget. I am confident that he would give me sound advice, that is how he developed the reputation he has.
Precisely what I said, the boat i am looking at is not the one you pointed out to me, (thanks by the way, but over budget unfortunately), and the one I am looking at does have the 115 on it.
