  1. Ask Rodcaster about the potential dangers involved with AST aboveground storage tank removal. He does that type of work day in and day out. call these people for a price: http://www.itechenvironmental.ca/ 73 Sinclair Blvd Brantford, ON. N3S 7X6 Phone: 519-770-4402
  2. Thanks very much for the advice, I will be trying it out next time I am on the water.
  3. Twelve feet long off the ball? Or am I mis-reading your post Chris?
  4. I was just going to say that! It was classic.
  5. The spring clamp type. You squeeze and put the line into the jaws.
  6. I was out today and having just switched to mono on my downrigging rods, I am finding that the releases on the cannonballs do not release. I was towing my catches rather than fighting my catches. I had a monster sheepshead on the line at the end of the day, ~10 pounds I estimate, and even that did not trigger the release. One will release as I am lowering the cannonball to depth, and I have to start over with the setup, like 4 times in a row. Then line further back in the clamp, and no release. What am I doing wrong?
  7. Give Itech a call, they specialize in that type of work. Located in Brantford.
  8. I would say that is some serious video editing. It did not show him actually hitting the marks. However it does bring a great point across.
  9. Hamilton Bassmasters swap meet.
  10. So the lesson here is to have a coffee on the go?
  11. Knowing Ryan, your prizes are sitting untouched in his front hallway and will be delivered to your door. That's the kind of guy he is. Thank you so much for coming, it was great to see the two of you.
  12. As an added bonus, this year the burgers will be charcoal grilled....
  13. Where is that in Dover? And how small, or big of a boat can get in the creek?
  14. I launched at this establishment today, and upon my return, I decided to stop in for a beer. Much to my surprise it cost me a total of $5.75 for a bottle of Blue. I did not ask the price before ordering. That cost combined with a $20 launch fee gave me pause, I do not think I will be returning to spending any of my money there in the future.
  15. Having done some restoration work, I would suggest that if you are going to do the job, do it complete. As North East Shark has done. When you remove hardware, bag it and tag it, you will thank yourself later when the time comes for re-assembly. I would suggest that you use an epoxy resin on all six sides after the pieces are cut and fitted to waterproof the good one side exterior grade plywood. Good luck with the restoration, it is a lot of work but well worth it in the end. There is a bass boat forum that has a really good sub-forum on restoration. May be worth a look. PM me if you don't know the site already.
  16. Being used to the waves on Erie, I was pleasantly surprised at the waves on Lake Ontario this afternoon. I found them to be a lot easier to ride than on Erie. Why is that? I was in two footers on both lakes and found Ontario to be much smoother.
  17. My condolences as well, to all those who knew her.

  19. I feel your pain, I went from a 60 mph bass boat to a ~40 mph v hull, and I really miss the feeling of having your ears pinned back on the water.
