  8. I have had the Iphone 4 for about a year now and have some great apps, have a screen protector and tough cool cammo rubber protector ... no issues so far , use it daily for texting, calls , web, gps ... all works well. My wife has the same and daughter has BB. BTW best thing with the Iphone 4 is Facetime , its very convenient to video call with relatives and see my nieces and nephews that are far away.
  9. Thanks all. I have read up on some their health issues, ie. skin allergies ... there is a breeder in Rockwood that has a very good reputation. The other dog that we are also looking at is the Portugese water dog, had the chance to play with one at Brysons marine in Haliburton, he plays with all the customers ... we will be looking at both breeds.
  10. Sorry its not fishing related , but I know there are a lot of dog lovers like myself on the board so I thought I might ask some experienced owners. My kids (teenagers) have been on us to get a dog and I have been wanting one myself. After lots of discussion and research we are a step closer to deciding what breed. We have seen some Wheaten Terriers on our walks around the neigborhood and the kids get quite excited to say the least when they walk by. Just wondering if anyone here has/had one , your thoughts and any breeder recomendations. Thanks
  11. You are an amazing storyteller. You know this when you can't stop reading and are hanging on every next word ..... your description of your friends was great ... when you are published i will be first in line to buy your book ....
  12. I 'll give you the point that "stats don't mean everything" but your idea of a guy that plays with heart is based on your comparison to Canadian players , that have a different style of play. Some European players play with heart and grit but may not show it. I guess you would say that Borje Salming didn't play with heart ... When the Leafs traded away Clark and Sundin came over, the world was going to end for the Leafs nation ... Sundin was a pleasure to watch he gave his heart to Toronto over the years. It just sucked the way it ended. I have been to a fair number of Leafs games,.. LOL (ya call me nuts) but let me tell you something about heart ... I just don't get why Leaf fans are so quiet ... half the time you can hear the blades on the ice , nobody is yelling at the other team , last year i sat in the last row at the ACC and i think i found where the true fans were ... it was louder up there than at ice level I am sure ... get all those corporate off their BB's out of those front seats and let the true fans have the privelege of cheering for their team
  13. Great shots, its starnge to see such candid photos here though , especially when you see only the professional ones all over the media
  14. My wife bought me a Leaf Jersey , paid big bucks too... with Domi's name .... she always heard me yelling his name every time he was on the ice so she figured that was who I liked the most .... always enjoyed watching Sundin as well ... he gave us some great memorable goals, as did Sittler, Salming, Gilmour and Clark. I can remember watching the Leafs back in the the late 60's, but was a Bruins and Habs fan as a kid. Now I am watching a whole new era of Leafs hope they get another young lad to step up and be a superstar, we need it !!!!
  15. oh how I look forward to reading the reports from Eddie's camps ... just hope I can make it next summer ..

  18. I agree the bass fishing is good in the other lakes i have fished in Haliburton area but since I have never been in the Haliburton Forest I was just wondering if anyone had any stories or thoughts on the private park. We have property up in that area , we have been to the wolf centre but thats it ... hope to one day build a little cabin/cottage up there ...
