  1. Noooo, as long as you can find parts, I'd keep it.
  2. The only reason I sold mine, you can't go trail riding with it. I've got a modest 5100km on my ATV.
  3. A stab in the dark, don't know if this would fit yours. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/304890236296?hash=item46fcdfcd88:g:C~QAAOSwbVZkiRte&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4AnLg457tqN6uYPGBcWl8ZnRA%2FeMbKDVQaFC7POLsXOzFOpr1yif7W%2BIkHKBbJhZZj8LI4%2FiUf85pucN0L202EpFQ6YVyJn8JrHqzZfVU4YZ5LnljG%2BShUEh2pD8XbHfINyu8GpMmAVXeLS%2FrCizdkZVvogew0UPomY3lMWoGJ87vD5VycvgmljsOMOOPpWc0vzkJkbrz0GlsSF39k8KjW%2Bt6uXSENF5kbKPN%2FwC%2BKh%2Bm4z8GfGm8%2Bhx%2FfTAJBnRFKI0bbB0JA51oJ5OdtysKzUHaWis11DjZVoFkKZVu%2Bzm|tkp%3ABk9SR9bBic6hYg Here's another you could contact https://www.ereplacementparts.com/tanaka-tob120-12hp-outboard-motor-parts-c-34785_35022_35023.html
  4. Yes the writing is on the wall, less and less snow on the trails over the last years, better to get an ATV and get a set of tracks.
  5. Well there's no "scratching my head" emoji, invasive what.
  6. I've done it on a couple of aluminum boats, have to follow direction to a T. Only use stainless brushes for cleaning, not brass or the old style iron brush. Apply enough heat to the spot your brazing, not the rods, they will flow right in.
  7. Glen, can you give us some dimensions. side to side, front to back and height.
  8. Much to my surprise the Yamaha F30 and 40 have a gas water separator with alarm built in at the rear of the motor. I thought it was just a filter.
  9. Looks like the top one has 8 ribs and the bottom one 6 ribs.
  10. I'm almost sure without calling, people post up there's a "no ethanol sticker" on the pump which should have been removed.
  11. Had a few minutes this morning and made some calls, Monte Reno has mid grade non ethanol, Sturgeon Pt at W Beach has high test non ethanol along with Thornbury Marina and Owen Sound Marina. For those interested, if there's any more please add on.
  12. Have to ask, did you actually ask the marina or just hoping the sign is still valid.
  13. Hahaha, I remember that. And then there was the year fishing in a snowstorm, with Marcel and Mark Cullum.
  14. Well you could google the marina's in your area of interest and call them to find out for sure.
  15. What is the recommended starting amps for your motor and go from there.
  16. Oh lets say, I don't over do it except for start of the season. Then I never use a full tank for a days fishing, maybe 1/3 so about 7 litres, so I add about a shot glass and refill with regular gas. Maybe I should have indicated that at the start. Knock wood, I've never had a fouled carb or injector system, I'm pretty anal about keeping the gas cans and boat tank sealed and very clean.
  17. Yes, about a shot glass worth. Same for my ATV.
  18. A water fuel separator would alleviate the ethanol fuel problem by about 99%. Racor makes them for a variety of motors. In my Yamaha F40 manual recommends min 86 Octane, no high test is required. I'd check with some of your local marinas to see which one still carries non ethanol regular. As for additives, I only use Sea Foam available at most car part places, CTC, etc. At the end of the year, I drain the tank, hose and get as much out of the motor as I can.
  19. https://ca.rogers.yahoo.com/news/whopper-fish-haul-nets-ottawa-173209200.html
  20. Well be robbed again, from the news non residents of Orillia can now pay $50 a day for boat trailer parking on Colins Dr by Fishermans Cove. In effect until October, they can chew my shorts.
  21. I think it's called "the one more short trip" syndrome. I don't put my wife away wet and moldy, or the trailer wet and rusty bearings either.
  22. Now I can see the reason behind some calling them "shoestring" fries, long enough to tie your boots.
  23. Won't be long I'll be getting my tomato plants and a few garden flowers.
