  1. On Jane St. just south (about 1 block) of wilson/401 there is Proline Shop which has minnows. Another few blocks further south is Fish Canada also on Jane St. I'm not at home now but if you need the number just let me know, I can post it later tonight.
  2. The sled will still run after it's been in the water like that???
  3. Awesome pics! very good read thanks!
  4. Very popular fish for asian restuarants as they bring good luck. You can't go wrong with pho either
  5. I second AVG! Been using it for awhile with no problems very simple and there are updates all the time.
  6. Most of the columbia jacket you see at sport chek is for snow boarding but they are warm. Get one that is 2 layer, one is the outer shell for wind/water and a inner fleece layer that is removable. I have columbia jackets and north face jackets both of which are really good. You can interchange the inner layer, one of the warmest combination so far has been a columbia wind/water shell with a north face 650 down jacket as the inner layer.
  7. Let me know buddy!
  8. Great find! thanks
  9. Yup go for neoprene ones 3.5mm. They will kept you warm enough and still be mobile.
  10. exit on Jane st drive south about 2 block is Pro Line and then if you drive down further, maybe 4 blocks there is another tackle shop with live bait.
  11. that looks fun!
  12. Been using the 10lb fireline crystal and love it.
  13. Great report Kevin, sounds like you had a great day on the waters.
  14. very scary stuff... can't imagine what is going to happen afterwards.
  15. Buy it used since they depreciate quickly.
  16. I wish I had a boat! If I had it would have to be one heck of a boat to out price my luxury sport car.
  17. I got the 10lb fireline crystal and I really like it, I'll probably get more when the time comes. In terms of visibility, it is not exactly invisible in the water. It appears white and floats on the surface so you can see where your line is. Casts real good and very low memory and extremely strong since I have hauled in a 20lb+ salmon with it.
  18. Use google earth map and you can see it. It's the 3 ponds that have a path around them and broadwalk intersecting them.
  19. It might be sheephead since I have caught some before at the mouth of the humber, but not towards the rock side your talking about. The fish jumping I'm pretty sure are carp. There are tons there and when they jump all you will hear is the splash and then see the yellow belly enter the water again. Oh by the way the 3 little ponds there hold small mouth bass and pike as well.
  20. Those are some amazing pictures you took there.
  21. I was out this morning as well trying my luck for some fall pike. Didn't have much luck.
  22. Leslie Spit
  23. Silva destroyed Franklin as I expected. Silva is just too good of a striker for anyone in that weight class to handle at the moment. Good fight!
  24. Rice lake has some really nice bass but it's a hard place since it's so big unless you know the area. I tend to like to fish the soutside of the lake. Maybe try Gore's landing, they have boat rentals as well.
