  1. Safety comes first, hang the food!
  2. Try Humber bay park west/east. There are some bass lurking around as well as pike. Also Leslie spit but bring a bike for that! I learned the hard way.
  3. I'm currently using 10lb fireline crystal and love it. Low memory and great casting distance. Really strong as well, put it to the test the other day fighting a salmon. Spiderwire invis never tried but I did use the spiderwire original before and it was horrible. The color started to fade and was not very strong at all compare to the fireline. On the side note I believe the fireline was voted #1 line! (so says the packaging)
  4. Very nice shots there!
  5. Picture turned out real nice.
  6. Is there a bass farm in ontario? I only know of a trout pond where you pay for the trouts you catch.
  7. A very well spent birthday fishing! beautiful smallie.
  8. Don't forget Rice Lake. About a little over an hour drive from T.O. has boat rentals and is pretty productive.
  9. Amazing catch at Scugog. How is the water level there now?

  12. Can I have the link for the clip?
  13. Nice Salmon! Lol as I was there and took the picture.
  14. Haha funny pic! I always see the fishes around the island but can't always catch them. Well like they say "a bad day fishing is still better then a good day at work." How is the crowd like on the island during the weekdays?
  15. The islands are really good. It could be a hit and miss at times. The only bad thing is the walking! Walked from Halans Point to Wards one time and it was a mission.
  16. Trying for salmon but caught a pike instead? still good! I tried catching salmon and got nothing lol.
  17. Your so lucky to be able fish almost everyday! Nice spot you got there.
  18. Really slowpoke I wasn't aware. Well I'm sure it was ok there, as there were mulitple guys in waders and people wandering around on the trails with rods.
  19. Since I have been hearing good things about the pier, my friend and I decided to give it a try. Arrived at 5:30am and there was maybe a little under a dozen people there. One of the guys caught a salmon earlier as it was on display . Fish was jumping every so often so I was pretty excited to give it a go. First time doing this so I was using my 7' rapala medium action rod and tossing spoons (not glow in the dark). Didn't have a single bite or anyone else who was there. So at 10 we decided to call it quit and decided to head upriver. We spotted a few dead salmons and one live one that we tried to entice with our lure. Still a fun trip overall going to do it again sometime soon.
  20. Nice catches on the island! I was there just this week and rented a canoe and everything but didn't catch a single thing. Saw some small mouth feeding on a school of minnows but couldn't get it to take my jig. And I also have that same spinner bait as you just in yellow instead maybe I should get white? lol
