I just went through 8 days of salmonella poisoning....gawd that was nasty. But sounds like you have something more chronic. Go see a doc and get a scope and blood work done. When I first got sick, they asked for a 'sample' as they handed me a sample vial. I asked if it came with a funnel..lol.

They mentioned they had tried that route last summer, but the cottage owners rarely returned email inquiries or phone calls. But perhaps there are some sites they did not know about... links would be good

I have a friend (who I will vouch for) looking for a cottage in the Kenora area on a lake with drive to access to rent. Needs to accommodate two families with kids (total of eight people). Any leads appreciated and maybe you can have extra PM space or a get-out-of-jail free card and stuff if you can help..lol.

It is the property of the crown, but if you hit it, you have first right should the crown decline...which they will. The MNR has more pressing things to deal with than picking up road kill. Any cop working in an area with alot of deer knows this. It is wiser to put the meat to good use and to not waste taxpayer money on a pickup that results in a carcass going to the dump.

That preference is stored in your cookies so if you ever clear them, you will likely have to do it again.

If they went ahead and bought their own from a private supplier, they didn't put anyone else out at all. A clinic in Toronto was selling shots (along with some fitness check) for $2,300...obtained from a private supplier. They may be doing us a favor since those people would have been in line with us.

Former Niagara MPP and Minister of Natural Resources Vince Kerrio passed away yesterday. I knew Vince and he was the last of the great Ministers we had. He was actually an avid angler and fought hard to bring in positive changes to the MNR . His focus brought about a massive increase in the number of CO's in the province and the beginning of new regional season variations that reflected the needs of that ecosystem. He truly understood Ontario. He brought in the licensing system to increase funds to the Ministry and as a way to track and punish resource violators. He will be missed.

Just do not harvest the eggs of a fish where that fish is not in season.

My quoted remark was not of distaste or disapproval, it was of astonishment. I know this are of the province is supposed to have an extreme population of coyotes now, so seeing a visual like that is something that puts it into perspective. My recollection from SSFC is that coyote population control is pretty much an excercise in futility since they will always breed to food supply. Moles, voles, field mice and rabbits are in good supply with the last two wet winters. Coyotes (in this area anyway) are actually helpful since we have little other predators, but their increase in numbers is concerning.

That 'letter' is just so wrong..and Bull. Thimerosol contain ETHYLMERCURY not METHYLMERCURY and does not bind to your brain and cause brain damage. Methylmercury is the toxin we see in fish...the one that is the one to worry about and the one we ingest each time we eat a fish from the great lakes. Your virologist friend is contradicted by the WHO and Health Canada. Thimerosol is also in the regular flu vaccine. It is a preservative. Never take away someones choices..they don't like that. But you can easily get them to make the other choice given the right stimuli. We are definitely sheep as a whole. Remember the good thing about escalators..they can never break. Worst case scenario is they become stairs (Mitch Hedberg very funny comedian said that).

All I am saying is that the population density would have to be phenomenal. Take your average hunt here and the success rate and then figure out how many times greater it would have to be in order to have a barn covered in them. Don't know how long they would last out there like that so don't know how many years that could have taken.

Yeah we saw that yesterday. We were commenting on the hundreds of hides on that barn (not the need to kill those coyotes responsible for killing that girl). I call shenanigans on the pic.

But if I get the shot, that helps slow down the spread of the virus and reduces the need for other meds with a much higher profit margin..like Tamiflu, Advil, Tylenol etc. And yes, I will likely survive the flu should I get it but what about those who I pass it on to? What about those perfectly healthy people who die from it? Do you think the inventors of Cold FX (which works very well and both a treatment and a preventative) invented the cold, too??

How can that be real? The population density would have to be beyond belief for that many kills.
