Great place to fish. But unless you have 3 coats of anti-foul paint on your boat, its a messy summer dockage! And the spiders are insane.

Cause even though some guys have Filet Mignon at home, they still miss a greasy hamburger from time to time. Of course, just cause she's gorgeous doesn't mean she is anything other than that.

Answering critique is important if it is easily explainable. Thank you for your follow up. I think things will go much smoother for you. As for me personally, I have not seen the show. I have heard great things about your host from guys who know musky fishing really well. We know it is tough to put together a show that makes your sponsors happy and not sound like a droning commercial for them. We face the same thing here. Which is the primary reason we protect our sponsors by trying to keep spammy posts to a minimum. The members all support our sponsors, but will also tell them when they think something is wrong. Some stuff you have to look at objectively and some stuff you take with a grain of salt. We exist as a fishing site, yes. But we exist as a community first and foremost. Just look at the thread on raising money for the kids of a member who passed away a few weeks back. This is just the way we grew and it works. The dialogue is often 'frank' but honest. We don't advertise, we don't run at a profit and thats the way we want it.

You came here under the guise of asking what everyone thought of your show... but your agenda was to increase discussion about your show. You got it. But you didn't like what you saw. There has never been a thread here where everyone liked any one show. NEVER. You totally handled this wrong. We have several great fishing shows that sponsor this site and who give back to the members on a regular occasion. Take a page from guys like Dave Mercer, JP Derose and Jamie Pistilli on how to be a TV host and a valuable part of the community. This can still go either way.

Got an inquiry today from the MNR on this coyote. They think he is pure coyote but has a rare white coat gene in his bloodline. His size is not unheard of apparently ( Southern Ontario urban yotes can reach 70 pounds in the right circumstances). We hope to get the City to post 'Coyote Activity' signs in the park to let people know they are in the park and to use common sense and not let pets off lead in the park and tell their kids not to approach any 'dogs' in the area. Interesting how the animals are reclaiming their once lost territory!! We now have a very healthy beaver population in the city too.

We will soon be upgrading the site software (sooner than we originally thought actually) and it has a much friendlier mobile interface with the new package.

The yipping was unmistakeably coyote...don't know if a coydog would have the same yip. But it would explain his size and fearlessness. Another member of the pack..a smaller one... jumped the fence into my yard to take on my two dogs in the summer.... bad idea. I had to pull my two off it and it jumped back out. But that one was smaller and regular coyote colours. I am going to look for tracks and see if I can find the den this week.

This fella was yipping at my dogs from across the park this morning..he also followed a woman and her great pyrenees. He thought better..the pyr woulda made mince meat of him. This coyote is white and quite big for a coyote. He is also getting more and more brave as time goes by. Location is five minutes from downtown St Catharines. Here is a bad pic..

Catching them in July and August does far more harm than catching them now. Smallies are very prevalent everywhere and even where fishing is allowed all year, there is no shortage of them.

I wish they would close all of them.
