another fine bass report keep em coming

set out to do some fishin last night.left home around 9 pm, first stop timmy hortons for some liquid crack to keep us fueled on our trip. on the water around 12am nice and bright with the full moon.winds were calm which was nice since it was night and we never fished this lake before.after a short boat ride we hit the south shore for some top water action.basskicker got the first fish. then another one. then i get my turn the night seemed promising 3 fish in less than an hour.we hooked and lost a few more and had several blow ups but no hooks.then it went quiet for what seemed like forever.finally daylight,now we can see what we are doing.found a nice bay with some good weeds in about 4 fow.started hittin them,lots of bass,hammer handles and 2 unknowns bowfin i think whatever they are they crushed my spinner all to hell and fought damn hard even breaking the surface like a smallie.the action slowed so we decided to go deep into the jungle and found some more willing bass.was a great trip here are some more pics sorry about the ugly mug shots it was a long night

honey harbour is quite poppulated but its very nice.was there many years ago we caught tons of 2 and 3 pound smallies in 10-12 feet of water i believe it was near midland.

jetski a holes they got the whole lake why buzz the shoreline. people who crowd your shore spot,or steal your spot and move thier whole family in when u land your fish. leaving garbage on banks or in water skitos or any other biting fly !@#$ people without boat launch etiquette

what a tool.nowhere near 12lbs,probally half that its a nice fish to bad he ate it.those are the kinda fish with good genetics.

nice report.wont be long till i feel a sizzlin run of a great lakes salmon.can only imagine how hard they fight out there compared to when they reach the river mouths.

use a minnow bucket with holes in it tie a rope to it and toss it in the drink simple.can buy one at crappy tire or save your time and money and skip the live bait and go artificial.i only use live bait under tip-ups for ice fishing,other than that i dont find it nessecary artificials almost always out perform live bait unless your fishing for pan-fish.
