  1. Haha Stirling! Custom worm harnesses are cool! Haven’t done those before. I pour my own dropshot weights and used to build my own rods as well but haven’t done that in a few years. Cant wait to feel the “thump” of a walter on these jigs though! sinker - they’re 1/4 and 3/8 oz. The metallic heads are Northland Tackle and the orange heads are The Perfct Jig.
  2. Haha, I've literally never even touched a fly rod. The Kawartha Walter's love their bucktails!
  3. Thanks Limey! I find it very relaxing and can’t wait to use them now. Lol
  4. As any parent of young children knows... finding the time to get out on the water can be challenging. Since I need to release my "cabin fever" somehow, I decided that I was going to start making my own custom (walleye) bucktail jigs. Just thought I would share some of the ones I've done recently. A couple of my buddies told me that I should start selling them, but as of right now it's just for my own use and enjoyment. If there's demand... I might considering selling them.
  5. Durham Region. I can meet anywhere from Bowmanville/Oshawa/Port Perry.
  6. For sale: 7'11 Shimano Cumara (Casting, MH, XFast) $175 7'2 Simax Technique Specific Great Lakes Dropshot Rod (Spinning, MH, XXFast) $125 Both rods in mint condition. Nothing wrong with them at all.
  7. It's very sad to see a company/product that was pretty cool go belly up from poor management. Too many local companies have done that. From Guiding Services to Soft Plastics to clothing....
  8. Looking to add a kicker to my boat. 9.9 HP 2 or 4 stroke, doesnt matter. MUST BE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER! Message me with details.
  9. Baitcasting reels Quantum Classic Express Flipping Reel - flipping switch - 6.3:1 Shimano Corvalus CLV200 $50 each
  10. Invite has gone out to TB4ME's friend but if Tupelo's friend and bowslayer both want in that's even better! We just need to have an even number of teams, the more the better.
  11. We still need at least 1 more team for the hockey pool. No cost to enter, just for fun.
  12. Hey Hockey Fans.... We're still looking for a few more managers to join our Annual OFC Hockey Pool. No cost to play, just bragging rights on the line. We have 7 teams signed up, but need an even number. (max 12 teams) PM me with your email address if you want in. It will be a live online draft, and a head-to-head format. (go against a different team each week).
  13. 7 teams currently in. We need an even number of teams to make the pool a go. Anyone else wanna give it a try? It's free and just for fun.
  14. I run two of the Helix 7 DI units (love them by the way), and run RAM mounts on both, but they require a few screws being drilled in. I love the versatility that they offer for putting the units in almost any position.
  15. Do you have the freshset data subscription which allows you to update your maps?
  16. 6 teams registered. Still room for a few more!
  17. 5 teams so far with a few invites out, so there's still a few spots left.
  18. Ok sweet! I've sent invites to all managers that were in it last year. Anyone that want's in that wasn't in it last year, please PM me with your email address.
  19. Hey everyone, It's that time of year again, when the Yahoo Hockey pool sites have re-opened! Just wondering who wants in for this year? Would be nice to get at least 8 teams. (Max of 12) PM me with your email address if you want in and I'll send the invite.
  20. Weedlines in 6-10ft of water will produce all day long. Flip the edges with jigs, bucktail jigs and plastics. Cast parallel to the weedlines with crankbaits. Walleye were on fire last weekend.
  21. Sweet site! I just watched a few Linder's during break at work and everything was fine. We have very tight security here.
  22. From what I remember that river is more like a creek at some points so I'm not sure if you cant get through there with a boat. The main launch into Restoule lake is located inside the "camping area" of the park where as the launch for the other two lakes (they're joined together) is out by the main entrance down a side road. Only about 5 mins from the "camping area" though. Both launches are great, I've had no issues at all with either. Bass/Pike fishing in all 3 lakes has been great for me. Lots of numbers and some pretty decent sized ones as well. Tons of Pike in all lakes, so be prepared to lose some baits if you don't use a wire leader.
  23. Restoule is a great spot, as you have access to 3 different lakes all within the park. Great LM/SM/Pike fishing in all 3 lakes and I believe there's decent Walleye in the main "Restoule Lake" as well but I've never targeted them.
