Hard to be going backwards making the playoffs 22 straight seasons. Lmao With all the young talent coming from Grand Rapids...I'm pretty excited to see the next chapter that's for sure.

It's all up to your Leafs now. They've got help this far and have no choice but to win out. Honestly, I hope they do make it cause if not, most people around here will stop caring/watching and talking hockey. Gets lonely around here when it's only the Wings, Habs and Bruins that make it.

There's clearly less of a chance of it going in....but like I said ANY shot on net can go in. Plus if you're being outshot means your being outplayed, meaning your giving up more scoring chances (typically).

Toronto's (main) issue is defense. Clearly letting 40+ shots on a regular basis is unacceptable. Even if the goalies stand on their heads and save 90% of the shots they face, they're still gonna give up 3, 4, 5 goals. Can't win like that. I agree that Carlyle needs to go but I don't think coaching is their biggest issue.

Considering 2 of the next 3 are against BUF.... I sure hope so. lol BUF, MTL, BUF, PIT, CAR, STL Sounds like playoffs to me...but stranger things have happened! Then again... Datsyuk is back as of tonight, so here's hoping him and Nyquist tear it up together!

Did you forget they also have 2 games in hand? As do CBJ..... Det only needs 6 pts out of the remaining 7 games to clinch. Leafs have to win them all plus hope for a bunch of help. Those spots are DET/CBJ's to lose at this point.

We are avid campers and our top parks have been - Bon Echo (awesome smallie/pike fishing and some of the best scenery in the province) - Restoule (awesome SM/LM/Pike fishing) - I am trying out the "St. Lawrence National Park" this summer on the St. L river. (That's def close to "other things" in case your wife gets bored) -

Oh... theres probably 10-15 that need to go, but he's def one of them. Gee... Leaf fans have a heightened sense of player worth. Go figure. Could have sworn James Reimer was the best goalie in the league last year...but he's the biggest bum this year according to most of Leafs nation. Biggest fairweather fan base in sports. They're the best team in the league when they're winning...but quick to point fingers when they go on their (semi-annual) collapses.

Bill, you've already used that Kadri line. It was funny the first time. He's an arrogant, SALLY that stirs it up then runs away. Heck he even backed down from his mini-me in Gallagher. Lmao. Arrogant for no reason....he's completely unproven. He needs to go back to the AHL where he belongs.

Couldn't agree more! It's their management/coaching that's the main issue. STUPID move after stupid move. IMO the Leafs need the following: - new management (all positions) that actually care about their fan-base and icing a winning team instead of lining their pockets. - a #1 centerman to be able to play with Kessel/JVR - #1 Dman cause most of the ones they have now are HORRIBLE. - LOWER ticket prices to get the "suits" out and the "fans" in - UNLOAD Phaneuf & Kadri, use their cash towards (useful) players. I think the Leafs have a solid core, but are missing the few key pieces in order to make the playoffs on a consistent basis. Take some notes from Detroit's management.... there's a reason they were both picked to run Team Canada.
