I've picked out a few of those parasites myself from perch and bass, usually more in the fall after the water has been warmer for awhile. I do have a limit tho, and if there are more than two I won't eat it either. Those ones look alot longer than the ones I've seen tho. Nasty!! Joey

Got up bright and ugly for some salmon fishing today and I was pumped for some action. The lake was clear and calm when we arrived about 7:00 a.m., but within 1 1/2 hours the East wind picked up to a level which I feel uncomfortable in our boat with So we had to call it a day. Got skunked for the short time we were out. At least I didn't feel so bad when every other boat under 18 foot came in too and said they were scared of the waves. I tried to take a pic, but of course it doesn't do justice to how nasty they got. A fellow who was chatting with us while we tarped out boats showed us the "Lure du Jour" that has consistently produced for him and his friends and told us they had them at the Bronte Tackle Shop. So we took a tour down Lakeshore Blvd. and stopped in and bought that lure and a few others, plus some cut Herring for next weekend. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this time. Cheers, Joey

No, I didn't count the times I had to vote to advance a spot. I think it depends on how many more votes the next person in line has. Some spots seem to take longer than others to pass. It only took me about a 1/2 hour for the 34 to 21 spot. I was on the phone at work and just kept clicking back and forth I was talking business of course Joey

Great report. Those sure are nice markings on that little musky. Too bad about losing the bigger musky before you could get a pic, but at least it was caught and you'll both have that memory forever. Wonder if the gill plate cut you like that. Make sure you put anticeptic on it. I hear musky slime in a cut can give you blood poisoning. Joey

Well that's too bad you didn't get out as much as you wanted. Maybe next time you go up you can try trolling some of the areas we talked about. Great report and thanks for the pics. I recognize all those places Joey

I've been doing it for days FOTB. Got her down from 34 to 21 one day. Almost got her on the first page yesterday. If its slow at work tomorrow I'll try to get her to top 4 Joey
