HI Matt, We're 1/2 hr south of Tobermory. I've fished from shore there on a couple of occasions. I know the area well but, all depends what you want to fish for. Smallies and perch are the easy'est. However, end of August had luck with chartruse jig heads, chart, 3inch twister tails. Big Tub light house is a good walk about (yes you can drive there) Little Tub, by Earl st, has a board walk and access points to do the shor line thing. Just remember its rocky without much weed lines. If your going for big and plenty, wrong spot. Average and little bunches, your good. pm me if any more questions.

I got some big ass pike by T bone island. Buy a chart for sure. It will help.

oops..... explore different colours of spinners. Ive had them follow some colours and hammer different ones. It changes week to week

Always had luck casting 9in black suick, and spinner baits. Experience with colours

Our cottage is in Pike Bay, and was wondering if anyboby else is close by for an day or afternoon of fishin? We try to get up as much as possible. I have a 16ft boat no trailer with a 9.9 so im limited to how far out i can go and how long. Thats not an issue, just wanting to expolre other spots.
