29 teams lose every year, a lot has to go right and some lucky bounces are needed for who ever wins the cup. That is a lot of ifs as well, but that doesn't suit your confirmation bias does it?
It appears that CBC has the game on tonight. Normally a regular season game between the island and pens would hold no interest for me, but I'm sure I'll tune it at some point tonight.
All sorts of crazy stats early in the season. Bruins, hot right now but not the best record, are plus 25, next closest team is plus 12 or so.
Of course the Blackhawks were plus 11 before last nights game against the Oliers.
My immediate response was/is no.
And by the true definition of the word jinx (bad luck/curse) that is the only correct answer, because there is no such thing.
However because we anglers tend to get in our own way sometimes I could invision a scenario where you catch a big fish with a technique/presentation that really shouldn't work based on any number of reasons. You then think you are on a pattern that works and spend the rest of the day fishing based that one fluke fish at the start.
My wife switched us for the same reasons... but it was from rogers to bell. Bottom line with little competition, the big guys don't have to change and the customer gets the shaft in the end.
