Got into some Laker action on Simcoe To-Day. Couple of Fatties one Male and one Female Hump Back Creeper Got er Done again To-Day!!! Travelling today was sled only LOTS of Snow out there!!! Earlier in the week the Bikes, with one up, were getting out!! But today the only thing I saw out there were Sleds. The Slush that we found last Sat and Sun was tightened up by Tues Wed and still today we found vey little slush!! The sleds are running on Top. However with all this snow more slush might show up!! Aaron Just a Heads Up You will find a lot more Snow on the ice since last Sat!!! We have about 5 " to-day, with some strong NW winds. You will find some drifts out there for sure, Bring a Shovel!!! Have Fun Rick

One thing I have to get used to With the HBird Flasher Was marking a LOT of Fish and NOT getting any Bites Although Last Year I met up with Big Chev and Lady W and I think Looking at Lady W's Aqua View and SEEING the Fish and NOT getting any Bites is Worst!!!!! Rick

Well My Son arrived Last night from Calgary. So I was very excited to get at 'er this AM' Set the alarm Made Coffee Loaded the Hut and Bike. and OFF WE WENT got to the unloading destination and Good Ole Dad Forgot the "Key" for the Bike So back Home I go retreve said Key LOL Anyway after a slight delay we were off Headed to the Fox Island Shoal, Set up Lots of Ice about 12" , Some small slush spots but nothing Serious!!!! We were running 2 up on the Bike It was working a bit BUT we could and Did go where we wanted. First Spot 0 fish and 0 marks Spot #2 0 fish and 0 marks Ok this is not what I was hoping for Maybe there are No Fish in Simcoe.. Spot #3 we have some Marks But we can't get a Hook Up So Spot #4 This is What we have been looking For Lots of Marks and we DO get some Whities. Travelling on Cook's is still very good, However a LOT more snow than last weekend!!! Roaches Point You will find 5-6" of Ice. Pumphouse and the Fingers 8" Bikes and Sleds travelling with no problems, No Slush or cracks. Lots of Fish being caught, This will likely be the Last busy weekend in Gilford, By next weekend Innisfil and North should be Good to Go!!! Rick

I have a Fish Trap Yukon, It is THE BEST Lots of room for 2 and ALL the gear, You sit up high so very easy on the back!!! But if you are gonna pull by hand it is on the heavy side. unless very little snow. I would go with the Fish Trap Guide for something lighter. Rick

OH Yea!! Travelling is about perfect 8" Ice, 2" Snow, 0 Cracks!!! The Biggest Crack you cross is right at Shore!!! Have Fun Rick
