  1. It must be us 'Older' or should I say more 'Mature' Fisherman who still use mono!! I went to the local CTC last Week looking for this 'Nanofil' but there was none to be had! But I picked up a spool of Power Pro to try BUT now I need some special 'Fiskars' scissors to cut it with So I am still in the Only Mono Group! Rick
  2. WOW!!!! Well 'Bunk', I think you have done it this time! You are gonna have a hard time topping that one! But that's what I said about the last report LOL The pics of the Char and the River are just Amazing! Thanks for taking the time to Post. Rick
  3. I am assuming you are tying the Nonofil directly to the Lure/Jig? Thanks Rick
  4. Mike Looking forward to the report! I am trying to decide on the HB 597 or Lowrance Elite 5?? OR Spend the Big$ and go to the HDS Rick

  6. Could they actually lay a "Charge" based on a picture from your camera? Or is that just evidence so as to make them search more? Would you have to let them see the pics on the camera? Rick

  12. Hey Raf I guess the only thing with the Elite 5 is you are lmited to screen size? and networking NMEA 2000? with the HDS, if you have room and $ you could go to 7, 8 or 10 Rick
  13. Now That's "FUNNY"
  14. The 'Smile' says it all and I am sure you will do it again! Rick
  15. WOW! I have been waiting for this report, More than I expected!! Bunk, You really outdid youself Great Story Great Fishing Great Location Most of All Great Friends Well done, Thanks for taking the time to post. Rick

  17. Ethanol is not an issue if you are using it up! But here in the Great White North we do not have that option! aka. Winter and in a lot of cases these Marine Motors sit around for some extended periods. So, I am likely gonna use the Mid Grade 89 Octane and 5% Ethanol When its available and if not it will be the Regular with 10% Ethanol. However I am still not sure what I should be using in the Fuel as a Conditioner,Stabilizer,Cleaner? and should I use it year round or juast at Winterization Time?? Rick
  18. Yes The 0% Ethanol in the Premium 91 Octane is at a Shell station. Green Lane and Yonge St North of Newmarket. Now! This is what Shell is saying, as posted on the Pump. But what is actually in the Gas, Well! Who knows? Rick
  19. With the potential issues with Ethanol in your outboard do you go to premium?? Regular 87 Octane 10% Ethanol Mid Grade 89 Octane 5% Ethanol Premium 91 Octane and 0% Ethanol Rick
  20. Sweeeeet James! Nice 'Fish' Rick
  21. Hey Bassive There's a 50 incher waiting for ya! Get the 'Big Guy' Have Fun Rick
  22. Sweeeeet!! Rick
  23. Smally I am looking at an Aluminum Hull So it would be qite a bit lighter than your Statos. Thanks for the info on Brakes and Pricing, MtP Just gotta find the "Right" One Rick
  24. I Hear Ya Mr P on the brakes! I think my Jeep could pull the set-up but the Jeep weighs in at 4200 Lbs. So braking would be or could be an issue. Most Boat trailer packages I have looked at do not have brakes, Would it be a Big Job or Big $$ to add trailer brakes?? Rick
  25. I am planning on Towing with a Jeep Wrangler 4 door. It has a Towing package and a Tow Capacity of 3500 lbs. It is a 6 cyl so it won't be a speed demon !!! But most of my towing would be local. Rick
