I am just curious if its best to use the skeen in the rivers or bottom fishing the mouth of the river. thanks here is a pic of the one I kept
  2. yup, once its on the wall its a trophy not a fish but to possess 2 that havent been "finished" is a whole different story
  3. It is a monster for sure, if he did keep one a few weeks earlier I would hope his freezer doesnt contain the other fish, would be a shame for him to get charged with being over the limit

  19. Headed out to the grand last night in hopes of getting some perch and walleye, no perch to be had at the pier and the eyes werent to active either, water was pretty high and the winds this am didnt help matters out of the 5 fish I caught 2 were upgrades for Team 7 managed a 31" channel cat while trolling, it was the ugliest catfish I have ever caught, it really sucks to find out you left your pliers behind when you have to pry the mouth of one of these guys open to get your lure back also got a nice eye while trolling, I thought I had another cat the way it was tugging while I was trolling along I noticed something swimming in the water, when I got closer I could tell it was a deer, must of needed some tackle since it was headed straight for the bait shop going out again next Sunday for fathers day, hopefully the eyes are a little more cooperative to keep my son occupied
  20. dump em live in a coffee tin with lots of pickling salt (table salt doesn't keep the color) shake em around till they are fully covered and dead I use a old net (dollorama) or a old hockey practice jersey and pour them onto it (use light egg crate to support them) let em drip dry for 2 days (flip after day 1) then bag and freeze em they work better then live (kinda sound like a gulp ad) just remember they have a limit on them (120), gotta keep the bait dealers happy
