So I don't really leave it in the water overnight when I'm not around. I wired the auto wire on to the second position. This way its on by itself. I'm actually a master electrician and my best buddy is a mechanic. We've tried a few times to figure it out, and can't find, it. I'm even kind of embarrassed to have started this post once I'd fixed it

OK so before jumping the new battery gun, I wondered if the indicator lights are messed up on my charger and after a full night of charging and taking it to CDN tire for testing, its all good! So I installed a disconnect switch for the cranking battery (been having a battery draining issue but that's another post). So the lazy guy solution was the 3 position switch that will allow the new auto bildge to be running while the main electrical is off. Anyway she's running just fine and I'm still a Deka fan! Thanks again folks for all the help!

Well it seems you guys were right! I never a boost and away she went! Kind of embarrassed but sure glad it was minor. Thanks people!!

Gonna try boosting it next but the battery is a 2 yr old Deka bought new and the charger said it was 100%. Yes boat troubles suck for sure! But lets hope these are the worst problems we all ever face...

So the battery was all charged, I hooked up the water, then tried the key and all I got was a little click. I was alone so, I couldnt be up at the ignition and see what was happening at the motor at the same time. But it was running like a top when I put it away and its the first time it hasnt started since I got it. season 4 now... Any suggestions? I also didnt have a lot of time today...

OK so Im gonna give it a try with holding rods and changing lures around. I didnt realize that new rods and stuff were recommended for dipseys etc. Sheesh nothing is ever easy is it??? Thanks for all the advice folks> I feel pretty lucky to have the support from such a great bunch!

What can I say? First of all Pete is a rwal class act! What a super nice guy and hell of a fisherman, unfortunately the fish could have cooperated a bit more but we still managed 9 fish and had a mixed bag of weather so a succesful day and made a new friend, helped a charity and put 9 in the boat!!! Massive day thanks Pete!!!!

I saw a guy fishing there with a couple rods and a really fancy weight setup I dont know id even be able to tie on my own, without losing a bunch of stuff. Fact is he didnt catch much....also my 16' has a forty 40hp and I dont think it trolls very slow, I may hang a drift sock off the back to slow it down if needed. All new to me stuff I wanna try this year!

Hi folks, Ive never trolled for anything until this past winter in Jamaica and want to try some here. Have my 16' side console and just bought a couple of rod holders. Can use help on where to mount them (scotty's) and can i just use dipsy divers or whats the easiest way aside from downriggers? Have a chance to fish Lake Rosseau may 24 and want to target lakers if I can figure it out. Otherwise well chase the pike...Any help appreciated.

Quite true, except you forgot the Muskol... I pvr so I can fast forward through the commercials. I get through a bunch of shows pretty quick for my fix.
