I was trying to think of a reason how a trophy like that could impact the ecosystem if it wasnt released but I cant think of a good one(Im no scientist). I think the best reason might be for shear respect. Not just any fish lives to become trophy size. Letting it go after a few pix to let it live out the rest of its life just seems like the right thing to do. Just my opinion.

Im heading up to bay of quinte(belleville) early sunday morning and I need to find some minnows, does anyone know a place near belleville where I can buy them?

Good old bisco, Ive been goin there every summer for the last 20 years and the fishing is always awesome.The sultan road sure can be nasty sometimes but its well worth the drive. The pic in my avatar is a pic of bisco.

I've stayed at Oakes cottages on lake Mindemoya a few times. The cottages are pretty nice and the walleye fishing can be fantastic. The lake itself is really clear so the best bite is usually just before dark. Hope this helps. Mika

I work for a municipality and maintain a water treatment facility and I have a marine electrical/electronics business. I get to work on lots of awesome yachts but I wouldn't trade my 14' tinny for one of those fuel guzzling giants.

I love to fish for walleye. I spend quite a bit of time in northern Ontario and it probably has as much to do with the solitude and scenery as it does the fish. Still, walleyes get my vote.

Ive used trilene XL for along time. Last year I started using P line flouro clear and I gotta say its pretty good stuff(almost as good as XL).

I wanted to call my boat the DIRTY OAR but my wife didn't like it. Now we just call it the boat.
