    Waterspouts

No, I didn't take those pics. My sis sent them to me. I was somewhere 'tween Cornwall and Lancaster when it hit.
  2. Good project boat for ya bud. Get her looking good and she'll serve you well. Have a great time!
  3. Yes it's legal.
  4. This is waterspout weather with the many thunderstorms we've been getting. This waterspout hit the Old Port this afternoon. They really are a scary sight to see while out on the water. Please be careful out there. If you don't know about these things, read up on them and be prepared, please.

    I'm Back

Welcome back R.O. Glad it all went well. Looking forward to reading the journal. :-)
  6. Have a great and safe time!
  7. John, when it comes to bass, we're all looking for pigs.
  8. I know that fishing with more than one rod especially for big fish would be too much like work for me. Just the fact that I have to clean the bait every few minutes is enough for me. I DO however have an opinion on what's currently happening out there. If you don't like the law as it stands, work to change it. Don't go about masquerading as a protector of the resource under the cloak of an association and then go out fishing with more rods in the water then the law prescribes. I've witnessed it in the last couple of weeks and folks, and the hypocrisy of it all just burns my .
  9. WTG Shawn! You're working for them so you deserve them. Some really nice specimens there. I hope you get into your 30+.

    Hi

Welcome aboard, Mike. Looking forward to your input.
  11. Thanks for that Connie. It just reinforces what I already knew about my Southern Buds.
  12. Thanks so much folks. I was out on the water a big part of the day today then had a great dinner with the kids and grandaughters. Really! A heartfelt thank you to you all. Such a wonderful place this is!
  13. Brian me son, I would think that with the experience you have on the water with boats that you'd be better equipped than most to gauge whether a boat will last or not. A talk with the owner then a run on the lake should do it. I've never had to use a warranty so I guess I'm not the guy to ask. I KNOW you'll do well me brudder....life owes ya. Good luck.

    Chat

Guy in there called "Cornholio"...he's being kinda rude. Anyone want to chat fer a bit?
  15. The question is, was he speeding or wasn't he? If he was speeding then he should pay the fine and be thankful that someone caught him. If he wasn't speeding then he should fight it.
  16. I'll bet you it's the transducer. Any chance of getting a pic of how/where it's installed? Position mainly....
  17. Welcome to the community, Ciceri.
  18. I've tried'em all but this one is my favorite. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
  19. Maureen, for your needs, you'd probably be better off with an engine mount. http://www.minnkotamotors.com/products/mot...tail.asp?pg=fem
  20. OOPS, missed this one. A real healthy collection of fish there Corey. Glad you had a good time. You'll remember that one for sure. Grandpas really ARE special eh? Thanks for sharing your great week.
  21. Great report Glen! Looks like a busy morning with the fish. Nice to have the lake to yourself also. I noticed in the cat pics that you're holding them in your BARE hands. That's not very prudent is it? Some members here hold them with a Boga or even welder's mitts because of the possibility of sustaining a lethal injection of fish slime. I guess you must be used to holding them. Or maybe the blue catfish don't have shooting darts or death rays for eyes or those 32 volt whiskers??
  22. Congrats on the association with them then. Don't worry about not reading "a lick", I subscribe so when I receive it I'll proof-read it and tell you what YOU wrote! Thanks again for posting that.
  23. Beautiful report Justin! How did you come by the Sentier Chasse peche hat?
  24. Good stuff Jeff. Nice smiles all around. Hard to beat an evening like that one.
  25. Nice to see you on board Leechman. A beautiful area you live in. That was a fine intro but Jacques, I hope I never have to call you "sangsue".
