  1. Meaning you should have all of these snapped outwards from the center of the SPOOL. At first. Dang! I'm amazed Garry answered you so quickly. You realize of course that that on the road again, Southern US, Yuma Arizona livin' dude was probably fixin' some freshly caught bass for himself and Buck to have for supper and he selflessly put supper aside to answer your question? I think that deserves a thank you. *grin*
  2. Mike, if you're not used to baitcasters, leave all 6 brakes in the on position. Later, you can take some out, to the off position by sliding them towards the center. It's best to disable them evenly around the spool so that on a 6 pin system you can either slide one pin on opposite side to each other towards the center or take half out by sliding every other one towards the center. Lots of variables there with the tension adjustment and different weight baits you'll be throwing. Have a good time with it. edited to add: Mike, I think the best guy on here to answer reel questions and baitcaster questions in particular, is Garry2r's. He knows his stuff and can give you very precise information. Maybe he'll see this and throw a post at you.
  3. Thanks for the heads up. The Walleye Runner is the best imitation of the Reef Runner that I've seen. They're fantastic baits at a super price and hard to beat for walleye.
  4. WOW!!! That must have scared the crap out of that fish!! WTG Dave, it's HUGE!!
  5. I'll be getting a few pairs for sure.
  6. Cause he didn't make it through the fall! Sorry....it just jumped out. Can we please let this one go?
  7. Ok, how many people kept the clip and put it in their bookmarks/favourites?
  8. He will as soon as BPS comes out with a ladies version in camo.
  9. I really wish you'd keep and not release those though.
  10. Good find ADB. This has been going on for years. I buy a lot of fish in a month so I have 3 places who I trust to sell me what I'm paying for.

  13. Good morning and happy birthday to you, Richard. Welcome aboard J!
  14. Bump to keep this visible. Thanks.
  15. It wasn't really practical to shut the board down for those two minutes. It would be nice however if our members refrained from posting for 2 minutes at 11AM tomorrow morning, November 11th. Take the time to remember. I know that not everyone will have seen this but, let's at least try. It's important.
  16. No worries Bud. Of course it's not mandatory to do this but it really is comforting to know that if you do get into some trouble, you'll float, right side up with your face out of the water. Just a hint.
  17. Actually, it's one of the first things you should do with any floatsuit or PFD for that matter. Get yourself to an indoor pool somewhere (or outdoor pool or lake in warmer temps) and find out how it floats. The peace of mind is worth it. Don't forget, you could be unconscious when you hit the water.
  18. Thanks Craig....back later, looking for a barf emoticon.
  19. Sounds good to me, Peter!
  20. The weather is starting to look better.....downgraded the wind again. Three more sleeps here. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
  21. You take care of yourself and get us some news as soon as you can.
  22. Huge rabbits there eh?
  23. Wait, I'll put on my glasses...I'm still trying to figure out who Jim is. Sorry folks, as they say, I get paid by the hour and older by the minute.
  24. AHHHHHHHHH Hush up Peter. Take it as a compliment and move on!
  25. Maybe give Lloyd Daume (fishhunter) a shout.
