  1. that's better than me ... i skunked last time ... putting 5 hours on the bank with no fish. all 3 are quite unique lol ... the 1st one is a cute little one ... the 2nd one - i rarely see one that silvery in color when it gets to that size, usually the silver are only in the baby ones.... the 3rd one is weird ... looks like it has been eating too much toxic waste or something lol still better than sitting in the office tho!
  2. i might be interested in coming ... can non-member join the match as well?
  3. LOL! that's jokes haha I wonder what the guy's reaction was when he walked back to the car and find that he pumped 70L when his car only has a 40L gas tank haha.
  4. wouldn't a 25hp be too heavy to portage?
  5. well, i did put some thought into that. But i still want to live lol.
  6. lol... when i saw this it's as if he's saying.. "%#@$ yeah , work sucks doesn't it" to me right now haha. nice haul guys!
  7. out of the couple of years i've been here on OFC, this has got to be the most amazing post by far! Thank you for the effort Cliff and also to the mods for keeping this place running/going strong. Loved it!
  8. awww he's so cute. now you guys have got another fishing partner eh!
  9. i'm planning to name my "girlfriend #2" ... if you do up a search here, there was a thread late last year/early this year started by ccmt
  10. what are you having troubles with while tying a hair rig? They're really really easy to tie. maybe try uploading a few photos of your working progress so we can help ya out? i don't know where you can buy pre-tied hair rig anyways ... at least anywhere close to you
  11. Nice catches! Looks like we're seeing alot more mirror caught recently!
  12. o to add to the trailer plate registration, there's a $35 fee.
  13. i guess bushart and reefrunner already covered all the stuff you need in the boat. As for trailer plate go, you'll need to go to an ontario drivers licensing centre and register for one. You'll need a Bill of sale (ask the seller to write one up), proof of ownership and you'll have to pay tax for the price of the trailer (you can ask the seller to just write $50-100 on the bill of sale). Do up a search on OFC, there's some info on here... i'm going through the same process as well, have to get mine licensed this week. Is your boat motor bigger than a 10hp? If so, it will need to be licensed. Go to Transport Canada to do that.
  14. dang ... life is good for ya TJ! Real nice place you have up there.
  15. Thanks for the report and nice fish! You can take your wife fishing!
  16. Welcome aboard. It's a great place here, i'm sure you'll enjoy it.
  17. Welcome to the board Aaron. I don't know why no one has posted yet ... I haven't heard of that lake but hopefully this would bump it back up the top and someone would have the answer to your question.
  18. I missed out on that deal ... it was sold before she even had a chance to send the pictures to me ... but i didn't want to drive 2 hours one way to check it out before looking at pictures anyway. I'll take some pictures one of these days and I'll post it up. o wow!? It really is a 12'? I was thinking 16' if not at least 14' as well when i first looked at it. How was it when you got out there? Was it stable?
  19. Congrats on a successful day out on the water! Happy Bday to the Shipper!
  20. thank you for sharing such a great story. Nice read to start my morning
  21. Beautiful pics and nice fish! Thanks for sharing.
  22. I have limited experience in trolling so I don't have a personal favourite. This year I'm planning to do it more often, now to give me a few ideas on what to start off with ... What is your favourite lure for trolling? I'm not looking at any specific specie here ... list'em all if you can and if it's not your secret weapon
  23. hmm.. i think the seller is located in regina though ... Have you tried taking it out on the water and go as slow as possible? Using a drift sock will slow everything down and it might get to a speed slow enough for your trolling. I have never tried any of this though ... but sounds like it would work.
  24. Congrats on the Maiden Voyage! I also bought my first boat ever yesterday ... still gotta grab some pic before i post it up here ... i know exactly how excited you are gotta get her slimed up soon!
