  1. That MIGHT get the tub out but unfortunately it will not make enough room to drop the new tub in since you will have to noodle the tub in a manner that will make it too long to be placed into such a tight fit unless you tear out a LOT of rows of tiles.
  2. DON'T do it yourself....get a pro to come in and do it....he will have the proper acids to clean the tub and the proper spayers and paint so it will last. Trust me it's worth paying around $500 as it will look brand new and have a 10 year warranty on the work. Bob
  3. Our water rates are $2.96 per thousand gallons. But then they add on a $3 per bill cycle (3 months) for Infrastructure Invest Charge.... We pay no fire supply water charge or any other taxes on our water (how did they miss that). We do have a sewer charge that is applied onto our town/county tax bill, but it's very little....I'm guessing under $75 per year...but since it's part of the tax bill I can write that off on my federal taxes.
  4. First you probably will NOT be able to remove the tub without tearing out some of the tile.....and that project tends to grow out of hand on some of these tub replacement jobs....also is there a chance it's a cast iron tub....the new steel tubs of today are made VERY cheap compared to older tubs.... That being said have you looked into just having the tub refinished....make a hell of a lot more sense if that's all you want to do is replace the tub....once it's refinished it will look like new. Bob
  5. You can always count on Big Cliff and Sue to welcome you into their home....glad you had a nice visit. Bob
  6. See if you can find a Daiwa BG-10 or BG-13.
  7. I have used cheap spray paint to camo several things....look for flat colors (not glossy paint)....the three colors I like to use are flat black, red primer and flat green. A fourth color could be gray primer. Only problem now is I can't find the stuff I camo'd....LOL
  8. Your natural gas comparison is really probably better priced then mine....although I don't have a high efficiency furnace and I also use gas for the water heater, stove, grill and dryer my heating bill is supplemented by my wood burning stove.....I should of mentioned that....so that $60 gas bill should be a bit higher if we didn't use the wood burner....but it so nice 'N WARM (70-75) with it going... Why is you water bill so high ? Seems out of line living in a area where freshwater is abundant. However you TWO month electricity bill is about par with mine. Those idiots that call themselves the 99%'ers want to do some good....protest our high utility bills.....
  9. After giving this a little more thought why are guys struggling with electric shortages.....it's that the reason for a "smart" meter....for a country that has less people then the state of Kalifornia you shouldn't be struggling or being jerked around with electric.
  10. All retail stores do it......hire at least 2X the amount that they normally need to set up the store and make a good impression on the public....then cherry pick the employees they want to keep. That's business.....everyone here would do the same thing if they owned the store. Stoty, SORRY it didn't work out for you...hopefully it's only a bump in the road to a bigger and better career.
  11. Nope, that's the most recent bills....but there is only the wife and I here now....so you can't compare it to a family of 4 or more. Bob
  12. Keep it up and I'll come up there and beat you with your own smart meter, smart ....LOL.....just kidding...or am I....
  13. No smart meters here.....don't know what you guys are paying for electric/gas/water but here's what I just paid NYSEG $49.88 (electric)....National Fuel $60.05 (natural gas).....water bill $35.56 for three months....
  14. I had the EZ Lube axle on my '06 pop up trailer....seemed to work very good....took it out west that year and did 6500 mile in 30 days without any problems....every time we stopped I would put the back of my hand on the hubs and they were warm at the most....even in 108 degree temps. The one caution I will say....when you have a new trailer, check the bearing right away....mine had so LITTLE grease in the bearings/hub it was a joke.
  15. I know a LOT of us that would like to help you clean the the Whitehouse out.... And you know what they say about computers.....GARBAGE in GARBAGE out... Seriously.....by March this should be straighten out don't you think, eh...
  16. Shane, them kids just don't want to listen...... BTW I HAD NO TROUBLE GETTING MINE AND A NEW GOOFY CARD....
  17. Both have it's pro's and con's......I'm on my 3rd foot control model, all have been cable steer models....I'm use to it and it works VERY well....but there are times when it's rough or for some other reason I wish I could control the bow mount from mid ship and that's when a power steer model out shines my cable steer.....as far as a bow mount hand control....I like to fish alone a lot and I need all the hands I can have available for netting, chasing and getting out snags....this is much easier with both hands available yet having the boat pointed in the correct direction. As far as the foot control taking up room on my small bow deck.....never seemed to be a issue with me....I can kick it all the forward to where the bow makes a V and it's completely out of the way. The best improvement I recently made up front at the bow was get another Lowrance LMS 520c unit and have it networked together with my console unit....now I can punch in waypoints up front and they are also recorded at the console....but better yet is the 2 units are also Ethernet together so I don't have to have the bow TM in the water to use my sonar up front. Many times I like to sit up there while perch fishing and both my sonar units are running off the transom mounted transducer because I'm on Lake Erie and anchored. I can also visa versa with sharing the bow mounted transducer.
  18. MUST be, because if it was as rumoured fish oil, there would salmon swimming up that hill....
  19. Lew, Usually not long after I squeeze the trigger.... richb has the non-smartass answer....it can vary.
  20. No antlers and herding indicates to me that this is late winter, probably March depending how far up north this was taken.
  21. One question for those who use Bearing Buddies (I don' use them). If you apply grease once or twice a season, where did the grease go that you are already suppose to have in that hub ? ? ?....
  22. For pointers the electronic beepers are great while hunting heavy cover....the slow constant beep tells you where the dog is and once on point the beep get faster and faster telling you she's on point. For beagles, they have a built in beep....errrrrr howl....LOL
  23. This is only a small example of how inefficient government really is.... Can you imagine all the other do nothing government agencies that are not uncovered because they are not exposed to the public.....in the USA I would like to see government cut in half.....then take a look at what we really need and cut some more... Less government is always better....here, there and wherever.....
  24. Every time this issue comes up, I thought, that by the posting here, that most were in fact changing wheel bearings every year.... Now to get the Worry Warts going......when is the last time you checked...cleaned or replace your wheel bearings on your tow vehicle....
