  1. I am mostly clueless when it comes to this process......never thought I would catch anything worth mounting! Any suggestions on where to start, who to contact etc would be much appreciated! Thanks Don! When I was a kid my brother and I would ice fish......never had a hut though....we used to build a fire on the ice and take our skates to help keep us warm. Not sure if we will be doing any this year but after a month or so without fishing.....you might hear from us. In regards to next years reports, I am not sure I can ever come close to a season like this again, but definitely going to try I wanted to thank everyone also for your remarks on the non-release, I feel a bit better about it now. blyght

  7. Really does put things in perspective when something like this happens......I remember years and years ago making a 1.5 hour trip and finding out when I got home that I had been driving with a broken control arm. Great to hear that everything is going to be taken care of!! blyght Time to buy a lottery ticket!! hehe
  8. Funny you mention this, I think it might be a fairly wide spread problem.....I too noticed a local pond that wasn't right.....this one was all covered in white stuff???? I was afraid to venture near enough to examine it closely...sure hope someone can fix this...... blyght
  9. Thanks for sharing! I cannot decide what part I liked best, hearing about the fishing or the great temperatures! Good for you having the proper priority.....Fishing!! blyght
  10. Love the one little "tan" paw...adorable blyght
  11. What a great looking getaway! I have to ask though.....Why do Canadians call places like that a cabin? Where I grew up, cabins were very simply structures, it was a very big deal if yours had running water and electric lights.....oh wait, that was our house LOL Thanks for sharing and it really does look fantastic! Blyght
  12. Too Cute!! Awww let him on the couch Being practical, I understand the "no dogs on the furniture" thing but I just love curling up on the couch with my dog at the end of the day.....I compromised, just taught mine to "ask" first, when we have company he rarely tries to get up on the furniture with them. I say rarely cause I don't want to jinx myself and he is still in training. bly
  13. Over the top?? Hmmm, Don't think I have ever seen a Christmas decoration that was over the top But then again, every hanging picture in my house is wrapped to look like a present and so are all the kitchen cupboards! Go for it Rick!!

  18. Over the years I have had to give up what some call coffee and I refer to as "liquid of the gods" a few times. The headaches are the worst! I have found that a nice pain releiver with caffeine in it helps ALOT...If I remember right, excedrin (if that is available in your area, can never keep my US and Canadian brands straight) worked best for me. Never worked for me to try tea etc while quitting, always found that it just made the mental withdrawl worse......Good luck and it will get better!!! blyght
