Little scared of looking up the tilapia thing now, haven't gotten to try one yet. I do know that your not supposed to buy wild tilapia though because they are un-sustainable.

Will be out this Saturday for suckers with locnar, after that I know of a good place to pound the bullheads all day!

Ya, more reason to chase them though. Although I'd rather catch an aurora. Wouldn't just be fishing for the inches, just heard that they aren't too hard to catch and put up one heluva fight!

Just ran a quick search and realized how rare they are to catch, maybe I'll just stick to splake.

I've been thinking of spending a little time this summer targeting splake up in algonquin because I know that there are a few lakes just off of 60 that have in the past been stocked. I could use a few pointers on tactics, depth, etc. Also, does anyone know if we're counting splake in the tournament this year? I am not sure if they are present in algonquin or anyplace nearby but info on tigertrout would also be appreciated.

I can't remember which way it is but one of them has it's "brain" sucked in and the other is puffed out, but be careful morels are one of the more dangerous species to try.

That's really a shame.. there should be a volunteer org. kind of like neighbourhood watch.

We had those in out hedge all of the time, they would keep us up at night, die in out swimming pool, and divebomb us! Annoying little things but nice shot there!

Mostly snappers, I've read about it in the regs, I'm pretty sure that they eat them, heard it tastes like chicken. and yes, group hug.
