I only bought a single ticket for the Sun due to bein on Lake Erie 95% of July and August ....although my boat did Win in the Salmon Masters Derby in the spring ...so yes my clients won some cash in the spring...can't wait till next spring to get my boat ticket again and win some more $$$$$$

Most of my clients are all corprate bussiness people and only fish once a year and all fish are packed for the table ...

Well yesterday I pulled the boat out for the season >. Another Great Lakes season has come and gone .... Well got back out again today after the big blow yesterday fish really didn't move very far from last weekend fish just went deeper 90 to 97 was the ticket today all on big Dipsys on a 2 setting 155 to 185 back ..Lead core 10 colors has also been hot off the boards.fishing is not over yet i will be out again tomorrow and a few days during the week if any body is still looking to get into some Walleye only a few weeks left and the boats gets the cover put back on ..but it has been a awesome summer fishing Walleye ;D Here are a few pics from today and last week ..Hope my 8.4 lber Wins the Derby today from the Dunnville Fire Fighters The Walleye Posse

Bad Weather on a Friday dosen't mean bad weather for Saturday...it turned out to be a nice sunny day for the fish fry and awards ..

Our tournament went off well on Saturday although we were not sure it was going to happen after the 3 meter waves on Erie Friday. The morning was dull and Grey with slight winds and a chance of rain however some die-hards decided to head out and give it a shot. We watched the weather forecast closely and would have moved the Tourney to Sunday had there been any chance that the boats entering would be put at risk. We left the Marina to head out to Port Maitland Pier at 6:30 am for shot gun start at 7:00 am finding only a one foot chop on the water. By noon the skies started to clear and we ended up with a beautiful day. It seems all boats headed their own direction ... There were 12 boats in total with many boats not being able to make it down from other ports due to weather conditions the day before. It turned out to be a great day on the water. Well till the Tourney on September 6th,2008 Next weekend im holding my 2nd Annuall Walleye Hunters Tourney off Port Maitland. Fishing has been great the past few days and it's looking like September is going to be another great month of walleye fishing. This year we are asking all people in the tourney to dontate 1 fish for our fish fry. Rain Date for the Tourney and Fish Fry will be Sunday Sept 7th ... The reason for the fish fry this year is to gather some extra money that will be Donated in memory of Bill Eastman to his Family ...Bill past away August 21st on Lake Erie after he left Port Colborne, heading back to Port Maitland in his 21ft Searay. His board name here was (Billye),some of you may have known Bill personally some may not have known him at all , the point is, like the rest of us, Bill loved fishing Walleye. He frequented the Weather Bouy fishing from Port Colborne to the Port Maitland . He passed away doing something he loved and the sad part is he left 2 Young Children behind Alex and Michelle and many loving family members and friends. So if you can next weekend, for a small $5.00 donation, come out and enjoy free camping , and a nice plate of Walleye. This is in support of a great cause ... Welcome

It is with great sadness that we make this announcement. A very good friend of ours died last evening. A loving father, family man, friend and fisherman. He is a board member here billye99. He went out from our place where he has a weekend get a way around 6:30 and did not return. Today we were sadly informed that he didn't make it back into shore. His boat had been found off the breakwall in Port Colbourne. Our condolences to his family... If there is anything we can do please do not hesitate to contact us. Steve and Bernadette Fishmasters

Well had a few days off Lake Erie this week so decided to try and get out and find a Toronto Sun Derby Winner ...fishing has been awesome for us over the past couple days with many teenage fish ..Bern had a 27lber today a new personal Best for her way to go Bern you fought that fish like a champ ...fish could have made the Top 10 but figured with all the Big fish being caught this week wasn't worth the drive to Grimsby to weigh it in ...back to Walleye fishing for 2 more days then Back to the Kings last week of the Sun ...been on the water now over 30 days straight man i love fishing ever day ... ;D Thanks again Bill for taken us away from Lake Erie for a few day ..see ya Thursday and lets get that 40lber

Thanks for all the kind words guys and gals but I'm really missing fishing tourneys. We had winning boxes of fish all weekend during the 444 but did not enter ...but you can't do both charter and tourneys ... If anyone on this site needs help catching Lake Erie Walleye I will do my best to help you out ... Time for bed now, 12 hours on the pond today and another 8 tomorrow ..

Lake Erie Walleye fishing of Port Maitland has been very good for me this Summer other then the wind ..spending day after day out on the lake with clients ...thought it would be nice to get my Mom and her better-half out fishing with me and my better-half for the day ...it was a a great day showing my family what i do in a days work on the water ..Thank you for joining me ... Hot Spreads this week Fish Deep Big Dipsy have been the ticket been running 3 Big Dipsys off each corner of the boat ...#1 Setting 105 to 120 back #2 Setting 155 to 165 back ...#3 setting 175 to 200 back fishing 78 to 89 fow ..all fish on Worm Harness with a Big Dew Worm ... Small Dipsys #0setting off the boards 275 back...Was at the 444 yesterday to check the leaders out and seem the Top 10 guys were fishing Dunkirk and Port Maitland ...hope they all got out again today for Day 2 ...don't let the weather keep you home from the lake its been good pretty much everyday till 11am ...then the wind kicks up ...lots of boats boating 10 to 20 fish a day .. ;D

Another awesome day on the Lake ..todays fish came from SW of Port Maitland 69 to 72 fow ...Big Dipsys 175 back on a 2 setting with Gold Willows ..Small Dipsys back 175 on a 0 setting was hot Water Melon and Blue Berry round blades ...if your out and need to find fish give me a call on 68 vhf .. Caught this also only took me 25 min to crank it in 275 ft lol... Ended the day going 17 for 22 Walleye fishing off Port Maitland is on Fire get out and enjoy ...

I still wouldn't bealive what they say ...most MNR have never even caught a fish before ..i still say Alantic ...

Yes i run my small dipsys back 250 275 then attach to the board ...long leads catch more fish for me ..

Well it was a fine morning on the lake till the Wind came up again..lake was beauty this morning till 10:30 am then she got rough had to pull lines early my crew was feeling a little sea sick ...but all in all they had a blast fighting Walleye all morning .. Small Dipsys on the boards 250 and 275 back 0 setting one side was hot also 250 on a 2 setting with the ring was good ...Blue Berry Copper was the ticket ..Big Dipsys 105 on a 2 setting and 156 on a 3 setting ...go gett'm boys there are tons off Walleye 74 fow straight off Port Maitland .. ;D

Well my last week was a awesome week for Kings on Lake Ontario...but due to lots of Walleye being caught I had to pull the boat home to start my Walleye charters...and lets just say Erie is on fire ...but it would be nice if the WIND would go away Lake Erie has been rough pretty much everyday ...here are a few pictures ill try to add more soon as i find my camera ...
