Booking 2 boats from 1 captain is a much more fun way to spend your day out fishing and landing a lot more fish between 5 or 6 guys on each boat ...I've done a lot of Bachelor Parties 2 and up to 6 boats all fishing the same area on the Lake shooting the breeze back and forth on the VHF and even a mini tourney between the boats makes for a great day out fishing ...just my 2 cents

Well another fine day on the Grand for my Clients ...headed down river around 11AM to find a Major Cat Possie going on down River fishing looked with all the boats we seen fighting fish ... some of our Big Cats today bit like small fish just nibbling but you gota love Circle hooks they might take 10 to 15 min to comite but once they do they are hooked ...Hot Bait again today Booster Tails tipped with Cut Bait or Shinners ...Biggest Cat of the day was 24.6lbs on the Berkley Scale ...Fishing is only going to get better with the warm front on the way get out and enjoy ...Fishmaster

Good Friday and the Store was a Zoo... What a great day for everyone on the water and on shore. Steve headed out on a charter today and his clients caught the first blue he has seen this year! Check out the colour change between these two fish! Steve and his clients caught over 25 fish today, with the wind blowing the boat and the anchor hard to set it made for a cool day on the water. Thanks to all the people that came by today, it was great to see you and catch up on what everyone has been doing over the winter months. Happy Easter Weekend Everyone! We got the boat in the water today... all went well with a great night of fishing. We went 9 for 12 We fished from about 6pm till 11pm and caught all of our fish on cut bait and large emeral shinners. On the way back in we were marking fish all over the place...

There has been bigger Cats this Spring caught right off my rocks infront of my store then some of the Cats in the boats 25.6lbs was caught last Friday off the rocks No Derby Ticket lol...no need for a boat if you don't have one ...I will be on the water Doing Cat Charters all weekend but the store will be Open we usally don't Open till 9am but might change that this weekend for your fellow Fisherman ...Best Bite has been 11 to 12noon till around Dark ..seems they don't turn on till the day warms up a little ...so to tell you all the truth there is no need to be on the water at day break...so Sleep in a little and get them arms ready for some Action ... Might be a wise choice ...to get a Bait Harvesters Lic is pretty much Nil and transfers do not work unless you have a Harvesters Lic in Hand allready ...you would need to take a Hacp coarse ...you can purchase a Dealer Lic but you would still need to buy your bait from a Harvester ...

Like all Rapala Cranks they are way to much $$$ they say the retail is $14.99 in the book but they go by 70 to 100% mark up I use a way lower mark up instead thats why i sell a ton of Rapala Cranks for $10.99 and thats even to much money for a lure in my books ...

Ice Fishing Perch this winter has be awesome ...been fishing Point Abino and moving West for the past few weeks seems the Perch are all over the shore line of Lake Erie this winter ..if you put in some time move around you will be into some of the Biggest Perch Lake Erie has to offer ...ice was stil in great shape yesterday with 12" of soild black ice ...few cracks but you can work around them or just stay inside of them best depths are 42 to 58 fow useing Pickeral Rigs and fresh shinners ...get out and enjoy it before its gone ...if you would like to no were the Perch fishing has been Hot just pop in the store and i will send ya in the right Direction ...Fishmaster
