I agree, he didn't have the puck. No ham no foul. Besides a win is not what I was hoping for tonight. Stupid sabres, can't count on them to do anything right. Jmho I like scrivens, I oosted that at the begining of the year. Woulda been nice to see him up more often.

Jmho, I wouldn't support this activity anywhere near me and I would be sure to tell him that. If it costs me 700 bucks that I didn't have in my pocket yesterday to make this point it would worth it in my eyes. Yes he may find it anyway, but I would be sleeping better if the place strip mined and I didn't help him for 700 bucks.

Sorry roy, I was on the mobile version and did a scan and didn't see anything, when I got home I saw the other thread... On the mobile version the second line of the posts don't show up. "Here we go again" is not very descriptive.... Anyway when I filled up the jeep from a 1/4 tank it took 70 to fill. Better than waiting to friday and putting in 75 or 80. Why give them more if I don't have to? Funny thing is I moved to the city to cut down on the commute, I went from 1000km's a week just to work and back 5 days a week to 80km's a week. 8km's one way. I decided in the summer would try riding the bike to work, I am a bit hesitant due to the fear of getting flattened by a driver, but I think the gas price change will motivate me to make the change....at least for one day.

Fill up your car, boat and jerry cans, gas is going up tonight to over a dollar fourty...

What if you get the 700 bucks, everything goes smoothly and he finds whatever he is looking for and strip mines the entire area?

So how does a gun registry help to prevent a person from using a gun in there Ape like state? And furthermore are you now referring to an automatic firearm? An automatic firearm is Prohibited in Canada. and Thus illegal. So if you have one it is not registered in a registry as you can't own it.
-
Sal, I would be more worried about your precious Senioritas than the affairs of the Leafs. Only 2 points away from no playoffs.... Wash and Buffalo could put the Sens on the outside looking in... I think Wash plays the habs and Buffalo has a game against pits(on a 2 game losing streak) I'll be watching a few games this weekend. Unfortunatly it won't be the leafs game I have interest in.

rofl that's the best one I read all week.....um maybe a tie with the santa float one and the scrooge coin pool.

Is there a difference between a pump action shotgun with a 25 round drum magazine and a .223 semi auto rifle with a 20 round magazine, or a .223 semi auto rifle with a 5 round magazine, or a double barrel double trigger side by side shotgun, or a .50 calibre Bolt action rifle? Some of these are prohibited, restricted and non restricted. I bet you may be surprised at what gets what classification. We have gotten way way off topic here but. I think either way no matter what I had or didn't have, I would think police should enter my home the very same way they would enter any other home. If there is a registered gun in a house, does that mean the officer enters the house with his sidearm unholstered with the safety off or if there is no gun registered should he enter the house with his gun locked away in his trunk? I don't get it.

No but what about driving in the fog with your eyes closed at 200 mph or skiing on a closed hill due to avalanche warnings or hiking in forest when there is a forest fire in the area When you're told not to do something and you do it anyway and you as a grown adult should know better its no longer a freak act of nature... its your own fault... and as such you should be held accountable. If that means you foot the bill for your own stupidity so be it. JHMO

Agreed but one must stand and rise so the rest can follow. Look at how many people have stood against the Gun Registry and how long that battle has been going on for. It would be a very difficult if not impossible fight to try and get the MnR funding back to old days. I am not nearly in the loop enough on what the MnR does with there share of the kitty to make any informed decision on weather or not they actually need more. I can say this, I have never seen a single govt organization crown or public operate efficiently without fat. I am fairly certain the MnR is no different. I think the Lib's called this round of budget cuts "Do more with Less" or something like that. How much more does the MnR need? 100 million, 200 million? a billion? I have no idea. How many CO's do they need per capita? I dunno. I doubt a brinks truck full of toonies would do much.
-
So what is this thread about? Stomping queens park for the mnr or ottawa for the changes to the fisheries act? Someone get the plan worked out. The mnr bbudget always goes up the first year of an election and down the following years. Its just a cycle. Its just getting very very low of late. Ndp, pc and libs have all raised and cut mnr funding.
-
Don't forget the MNR is provincial and not federal. Since 2007 under the liberal government the MNR budget has gone down from 744 million dollars to 620 million dollars.

So lets say you have your 1500 and you can put in what 2k pounds in the bed? Maybe stretch it out to 2500 pounds.... So lets see here a toonie weigh 7.2 grams, 2500 pound converted to grams 1133980 grams, divided by 7.2 grams, thats 157497 toonies Thats 6300 rolls of toonies Over 20 years.... 315 per year. So less than a roll per day.... Ok I think a pickup truck full of toonies would be ok. hmm so at 7.99per pack plus tac for senko's that 34921 packs of senkos. -
The world is coming to an end.... I may actually agree with you. cough cough choke choke

What exactly are you trying to protest at Queens Park? Queens Park is Provincial, and thus in the hand of the Liberals in the hands of a minority govt. The next election barring a quick out is not for several years. I don't think the ontario liberals want to push for an election, not with the results of the last federal election so close at hand. I am all for a good protest and would certainly be willing to participate. Or even make a webpage for to distribute information. But the T's need to be crossed first before I could pledge my involvement. All fo the latest aingst has been directed quarely at the Conservatives so marching on the door step of the lib's may not be the best message.

To be honest I think if anyone by there own stupidity endagers lives and costs huge bucks in rescue efforts, that they should be asked to do community service. Maybe clean up the docks or collect die off, or volunteer at a soup kitchen or something. Fines, yah maybe, if you don't want to lend a hand helping out.

4 million in rolls is a lot of rolls. 50 bucks a roll. That's what 80000 rolls of toonies? Even over 50 years that's about 5 rolls per day. 200 bucks a day in toonies. -
ellwood epps, williams arms and gagnons all sell used guns. The other place you coulch check is canadiangunnutz.com or one of the other fishing websites also does hunting stuff. Your best price on a used 870 will come from a person that just bought a winchester... baaahaha

Obviously hopefully everyone recovers...but seriously who hasn't thought of a scenario similar to this... But damn twonies? Lets just say you drove by and noone was hurt and noone was around and you scooped up say 20k worth of toonies. What the heck would you do with them? You couldn't bank it duh. I guess you could spend it at the dollar store toonie at a time. Crazy times I tell yah. I mean the sheer logistics of trying to spend 4 million dollars in toonies that you couldn't put in the bank. Its insane.Even if you safely spent 10 dollars a day in toonies. thats 1095 years to spend it all. This is crazy. Damn. I mean clearly noone wold take money from an accident, but if you actually sit and think about it. Its just boggling my mind. Imagine being a millionaire and having to live off of toonies. ROFL -
The inertia assited pump action system is amazing once you shoot it you will fall in love. Unless of course you like ramming every shot home as hard as you can. Fastest Pump action shotguns in the world. Made the 1300 Speedpump even better. They are worth a look.

Yup I agree go for an older used on in good condition over a new one and you will likely not be dissapointed. Just keep the shucker in shape or you will be cursing in no time.
