The N series was his eletrics... I don't think the acoustics got much play from him...

Does anyone know the exact model of guitar that bettencourt uses in the video for More than words? I am thinking a Washburn PR7E, but it looks different. Deeper cut at the bottom. Likely a special one off just for him but, I figured I would ask.

Broke in my 2012 Yamaha 75 HP 4-Stroke

You can look for a prop that is designed to give stern lift, like a cleaver. This will get more boat out of the water and reduce your drag. Since you lose bow lift with a stern lifting prop, this can have a negative affect but if you are already porpusing and you get out of the hole ok, then you could likely be ok with losing some bow lift. But don't forget you are driving an allumium boat and not a bass boat. -
Clear coat? Color? Is it through the primer? Down to the metal? Mguiers makes scratch remover and it works well for solid color on light scratches.

I believe for trout nets cotton netting is preffered and I thin kthey have them at lebarons as well as basspro. As for a camera, I have two, a Dslr and a point and shoot. The point and shoot is waterproof and lives in my tackle bag. Its an Olympus uTough about a year old. works fine for what I expect out of it. anything I want a nice picture of I plan ahead and bring the good camera.

Spooling up Power Pro 30 on the new Cuarado
jedimaster replied to RickOnt's topic in General Discussion
Oh yah, I am not arguing, Everyone does what they do. I have some reals that have lots of line on for sure, some of them I have powerpro tied on direct, but typically I'll put mono backer on and do a uni to uni knot. -

They put a tonne of RnD and engineering to bring the spool weight down as low as possible on purpose. Why on earth would I added twice the weight of line when the water will never touch that line. I mean think about it.... 50 yards of power pro is 150 is 150 feet. When the last time you were vertical jigging in 150 fow for bass? or perhaps take a monster cast halfway the length of a football field? Not likely. jmho. I usually put a 150 yard spool split with 2 reals, and have some left over put about 30 feet or so of mono on first with 8-10 pound. also that line you are slipping onto the next reel backwards has been sitting getting damp and drying over and over must be causing some level of weakness over an entire season or two. I would rather just get fresh line when its time to change. Why not just keep the other 75 yards on the box tucked away clean and safe at home. -
Saw that one a couple years back.

Spooling up Power Pro 30 on the new Cuarado

I have caught some big fish while bass fishing, and with 30 pound braid and and the drag power of most bait casters even a good size musky will be able to be horsed in before it spools 75 yards. -

I use mono backer, and since I fish for bass and have NEVER been spooled on bass, I only put enough line on so that the line sits just past level with the center of the reel line guide. This helps reduce friction when casting as well less line means less weight means a faster spool means longer casts. -
Ditto as mik, welcome aboard. In any lake if you find the weeds you will find the fish.

Errr.... wow thats some seriously personaly information... I am not sure I want to know the event leading up that situation... lol

I gave myself stitches while in the backcountry a dozen or so years ago. When I got out and went to the clinic a week laer they injected some anticeptic or something around it. removed my stiches and everythign held together... mind you I still have a scar from it. but I stayed alive and fished the whole week. Other than that I am knocking on wood as I have been fortunate enough to not need to do anything else.

Thats a long rod for skipping. I switched to a 6' st.croix spinning rod for skippig and find it far more accurate. I can run it mush tighter to the water as well.

Arn't you gonna have to change your name to LundGuy? -
If they don't have receptors to detect the scent of WD-40 how do they have receptors to detect the human scent? I have also heard of bilgewater.

Yep you will be fine. The only thing you will want to pay attention to is the drop in your tongue.

Yup a good deal on the st.Croix's. IMO as sensitve as the Avid's and I have fished with both a fair bit. Dollar for dollar the Premiers are one of the best performing rods. Too bad its only a 5 year warranty.

There is a huge gold one in paudash. someone sees it every year during a tournament. Its at least 10 pounds.

Most people I have seen get turned away at bass Pro and pissed off start off very happy and friendly. Like the guy in front of me that bought a GPS 5 minutes earlier, took it outside and the screen was cracked and the guy at the counter accused him of trying to get a free one.

Well I feel like I owe it to post a good experience I had at bass pro. Over the years I have loved and hated bass pro. I feel, not unlike many others, that I was or have been wronged at certain points when trying to get warranty workm returns, custommer service or attention. Out of chance I had a Bass Pro brand rod in the car while I was at Vaughan Mills. I bought it last year for my fiance as a cheapo bass rod. It was a Viper combo. 40 bucks or something like that. An IM6 rod according to the stamp, but honestly it feels more like a wet noodle. Anyway the grip that I thought was full cork was just a thin cork wrap. It half peeled off over a year of fishing, so I thought I would take it in and see if they would exchange it. Well to my astonishment without my receipt they actually took it back and gave me a full store credit. No argueing or explaining. The guy even asked if I would rather exchange it or have a store credit to buy something else. I thanked him took the creidt and bought a St.Croix Premier that was on sale for 20 percent off. Anyway Bass Pro, if you are listening I hope you are actually changing your ways and this was not just a random allignment of the stars. Mind you the 2 guys in front me were cursing away, so I think I got lucky. Until we meet again Bass Pro... Just know this, your service on that day pulled an extra 60 bucks out of my pocket that would have otherwise gone somewhere else.

Skunked means... no fish in the boat... The following do NOT count as a fish unless you are actively targetting them. ANY OOS Fish (If you count this as a fish you are admitting to being a poacher) Rock bass of any size Panfish that are not of keeper size if you were to be targeting them.. eg a 4 inch perch the size of your husky jerk doesn't count. however a 12 Inch jumbo would count as a fish Anything that is not a fish (Seagull, Loon, Turtle, Mussle, Mud Puppy)

Aren't they supposed to have green centers? haha jk, cool shot. I can't recall even seeing a real poppy.
