  1. The only people I regularly see catching bass to eat are American tourists. I don't see why a thaw to freeze bass season couldn't maintain the population. Even maybe a thaw to June catch and release.
  2. That's a good deal. If you drive with a light foot you will be amazed at the fuel consumption. I know I was. The only thing is if you are towing lots of weight it would be worth hooked it up and see how it does. For the price though there isn't much else out there.
  3. There are tournaments this weekend on almost every good bass lake in every zone that's open and you can be darn sure every bass angler in those tournaments will fish beds, and any big ones won't be going right back in, they will be going for a day long joy ride in a live well.
  4. Do they still have the 9500 off deal or whatever it is?
  5. Dalrymple on Sunday in a tourney. Saturdays plans fell through for a tourney on the tri lakes. Gonna do some fathers day stuff on Saturday. Was going to go musky fishing this weekend until I realized it was the opener this weekend haha.
  6. Just so I am reading this right. Bass opens in 17 this weekend right?
  7. Knuckle sucks. I got a bee sting on my hip once right where pants are supposed to sit. not a fun week.
  8. More than likely od off will be the best on your transmission, Whats your truck rated for and what is the weight of the boat? I find if I am near half of the towing capacity the od stays off. Most manuals will tell you to shut the od off. Actually most newer trucks will have a tow/haul button that will change the shift points and keep the od disabled.
  9. I can hardly wait until the Sens adopt this new name. BAAGAHAHAAA
  10. I think I have an explanation..... maybe they got a deal on red and black ink and toner for there printers. A red–black tree is a type of self-balancing binary search tree, a data structure used in computer science. History[edit]The original data structure was invented in 1972 by Rudolf Bayer[2] and named "symmetric binary B-tree," but acquired its modern name in a paper in 1978 by Leonidas J. Guibas and Robert Sedgewick entitled "A Dichromatic Framework for Balanced Trees".[3]The color "red" was chosen for the name because it was the best-looking color produced by the color laser printer available to the authors while working at Xerox PARC.[4]
  11. x2 well done. I lost my phone at the zoo on saturday, went back to where I thought I lost it and a guy saw me looking aron and asked if I lost something, he found my phone and gave it back. On my way out of the zoo I found a phone someone dropped. Tried to contact them but the phone was locked so I droppd it off at security right then a woman came up the security in a pacink that she just lost her phone. yep it was hers... What goes around comes around.
  12. Sounds like Kipawa Lodge might be a good option, waiting for a call back...
  13. I am all for the drive, I really don't mind, beauchene is a place I wanted to try but there package times don't fit my availability. Will check kipawa
  14. Checked it out, can't return on a mon.
  15. Do you know how to get there by train? Mar mac that is.does the train go right to the lake or do you need to be picked up? This sounds interesting..
  16. Timing and availability is the biggest issues. A Lot of places I called that have availability won't do a weekend and place that will are booked up.... that should say something to the lodges. haha thanks for all of the suggestions I am going to make another round of calls today and see what I can dig up. For now the best option looks like camping on crown land. Was hoping to get out for some guided fishing but the first round of calls didn't give much in terms of results.
  17. Yah, start friendly before going off the wall Ape man.
  18. Comes with a 3 year warranty, I would make a call at the very least.
  19. my propane stove is starting to suck and I am tired of buying canisters that freeze up in the winter. so I am considering going back to the old style naptha stove. I have a naptha lantern(very old) and works way better than the dual element propane one I have. The naptha single element one is way brighter. Does anyone have one of the new naptha coleman stoves? I know my old one was bullet proof, just wondering what the quality is lie on the new ones. Anyone got another naptha two burner stove to recommend?
  20. I have heard its to aid in digestion. I have seen them do this before on balsam. The whole head clean out of the water mouth wide open cruising in about 15 fow for about 50 yards or more.
  21. How do the split grips fit in your rod holders? That's my concern with split grips for musky. Just feels like the full handles will be better long term for wear and tear in and out of the holders.
  22. Its likely that we will just do some crown land camping and fishing this time around, but if we can't do it this year we will next year.
  23. "ummm no" haha nice video. Love it.
