Connect the trolling motor to the battery direct and run it. Check the wires see if they get hot. Test with a voltmeter the charge before running the trolling motor and after 10 minutes. If you have another battery do the same with it. If it kills two batteries connected direct in 10 min then you have a trolling motor issue. If it only kills the new its a battery issue with your new one. If it runs fine and doesn't kill either than you have a problem with a some accessory or wiring in your boat.

Well that's why every leaf fan was hoping for a mtl match up in the first round. The has play with grit but it's only about 2000 grit... even the sens with there 500grit were able to walk all over them. at least the leafs outlasted the has and nucks.

Yep, crappie is one of the best tasting fish imo. And they fight like crazy.... when a musky hits one on the way to the boat.

Apparently it is possible for there to be discrepancies between the online summary, printed summary and the actual law. Nice. btw here is the email thread I had.... From Mnr, The answer is a bit complex but here's the basis. Many of the Schedules under the Ontario Fishery Regulations (OFR) have been changed by something called a Variation Order - its a procedural tool that lets MNR make changes to seasons and limits quickly but only if the rule is already established in the OFR. Best custommer service is the ones you never call. I have only had a lowrance since this ice season, so far so good. knocking on wood. Prior I was always humminbird. I can't say I had any issues with those either accept one had a screen go bad, but was out of warranty.

So as I understand it, here is an example.... Fishing for walleye on a slot lake, and you catch one. You can gut it but it must remain in tact nose to tail until you hit land, at that point you are going to be driving to your house so you can then fillet it leaving a patch of skin... Is that right?

I also have a GL2 dropshot rod and I have pulled a few 5 pounders out of the depths with it. I have no complaints, accept for it feeling a little bit tip heavy.

Yes that's my understanding but I dont actually see it in the current summary. The current summary only appears to refer to transport of fish versus storage.

Just wondering if anyone has gone over the regs recently about the storage? There is a page that pertains to transport, but I don't see one that lists out specifically for storage. I thought there used to be a section on that. This is all about transport there is no mention of the laws about storage at your residence.... It is contrary to the Ontario Fishery Regulations to stock or transport live sport fish without a permit. Anglers need to ensure they are transporting fish in compliance with the regulations, which are designed to protect fisheries resources. The fish that you catch and keep may be cleaned. However, please remember that fish taken from waterbodies where size limits are in effect must be readily measurable at all times, unless the fish are: • Being prepared for immediate consumption • Prepared at an overnight accommodation for storage • Being transported on the water from a temporary overnight accommodation to your residence and you are not engaged in sport fishing • Being transported overland. Do not transport live fish overland in a livewell filled with water. Fish must be dead and should be transported on ice. In addition, when packaging fish you must ensure that a conservation officer can easily determine: • The number of fish in your possession • The species of fish in your possession. This may require leaving a large patch of skin, the head, or some other identifying feature depending on the species of fish (e.g. lake whitefish vs. lake herring).

For a sens fan you sure seem to love to watch leaf games. Regardless I don't think you were watching the same game tonight as the leafs outplayed the bruins. Outside of 3 costly turnovers The leafs played pretty good. Too much line juggling imo. Get some flow and let them play. Better game by Gardiner lots to build on for the next game.

From beaverton to Peterborough towing the boat got 19.8 mpg normally this trip was a full tank in the liberty. Went through half a tank in new truck. I heard there was a lawsuit pending with the f150 as its not good on gas at all.

24.1 mpg from Toronto to beaverton. Will report back what it get with the boat towing behind.

Yah I wouldn't be getting it to save on gas. More so I can put stuff it for hunting and fishing. Looking for a deal on a folding hard cover.

If I had the room it would already have a cap on it. I haven't seen any proof anywhere stating that a tight fitting cover reduces economy. Most say its minimal.

Oh yes, very interesting. I have a feeling like the legs will be motivated on Monday night. They darn well better. Like I said before. If they skate and hit, they can score with the best of the league. Happy Leafs fan here.
