  14. I've been catching wild goldfish for over 45 years in Lake Ontario and other small bodies of water around the GTA! Interesting how they're worried about them now!

  16. For those of us who remember the Toronto Sportsmen Show and the original Spring Fishing Shows, today's shows will never live up to expectations. The cost of attending shows for outfitters, retailers & manufacturers have become cost prohibitive. They're still a great way to the juices somewhat flowing as we approach spring and ice out! Still, love the watching the dogs and the MNR exhibit etc.
  17. 15 lbs. test Daiwa J-Braid 4X with a 12-15 lbs. test Sunline Leader FC fluorocarbon leader joined with a Crazy Alberto knot for bass! For pike 15 lbs. test Daiwa J-Braid 4X to a 9" 30 lbs. test Stringease Titanium tippet, for larger jerkbaits I throw them on a baitcasting outfit with 30 lbs. test braid & tippet combination.
  18. Love golf and fishing but had to make a choice a number of years ago! Made the right choice, love to fish, my golf game has gone in the dumps but that's okay!

  21. My main dropshot is not really a "dropshot" rod! It is a Daiwa Tatula Elite "Seth Fieder" Signature Series Hair Jig Neko Rig rod! It is a 7'6" MLM rod with Fijii AGS guides, picks up line quickly & lots of length to fight giant Smallies!

  24. A super tough fish at this event weather was warm but snowing most of the day! My partner Al Russell & myself only caught 6 of our eligible 10 fish limit for a total of 4.40 lbs. Happened to good enough for 4th place overall! Another great fundraiser for MS research!
