  1. Have not fished alot, but when I do,it,s more to test out my ties. My new high hooks have been killing it . Since I was very close to a deep drop off, I thought I would give a try for a white fish . Wasn't long before a fish came in and did a slow chase and hooked up . Thought it was a whitie as it was just swinging back and forth on the way up . Half way up, it was not to be . Big run back down . Laker. All good . Play it out,in the net, quick pic and back it went . Played with some pannies on the new high hooks . Working well .

  2. I've been on a bit of a stall with this one while I dealt with other issues including a broken down band saw, essential for cutting antler. I finally got the band saw up and working this morning in order to finish this Moose Antler handle. Anyway it's now guide ready and will hopefully be hauling in the Big Ass Bass soon. Cheers

  3. Went to st Clair for musky. Had a hit and straight drag. Sun was bright so the Bimini was up. Buddy grabbed The rod and hit the Bimini not reeling fast enough and slack line fish gone. Got a small pike and a channel cat on Muskie lures. Not enough action pulled to plug. went to Erie for pickerel and limited out in 3hrs.

  5. I have found the musky fishing a bit tougher at St C the last couple of years. Even last fall we didn't do great when fall was usually a fish bonanza. Kind of hard to justify the drive and I am only 2.75 hours away
