  1. guys, if you're targeting musky, please equip yourself with a proper landing net, jaw spreaders and a good set of pliers...a good set of knipex bolt cutters also helps. unhook your fish in the water in the landing net. If youre taking a photo, get your camera ready, have the fish already unhooked, grab the fish take your photo and put it back. Most obvious of all, dont fish out of season like these bozos.

  2. my personal take? Ive never used the side imaging on my trolling motor in my life. but...ive got one screen at my console and two where im fishing on the front deck. Truthfully, whats most important of all? Having a very readable map while you attempt to navigate is more important than anything. Fishing new water all of the the time in tournaments and driving boats quick, having a big map that I can augmented reality my boat into GPS Map space...right in front of my face is a must have.

  3. Now is the time for the southern shore. Seems to be a few weeks behind due to how cold it's been but the next month should be really heating up.

  4. Crowman is correct, Grimsby to Niagara bar will be prime early May. They are starting to show up now, not in big numbers but definitely a few around.

  5. I personally would have it at the console for side imaging use as you have to be moving to use SI, sure the trolling motor could move you fast enough, but I would not think standing on the bow is the easiest way to use it. Does your Terrova have the built in transducer?

  6. "And I'm clueless.. litterally lol" NO COMMENT LOL The best months imo is July /August when fish are big and patterns fairly consistent.

  7. Absolutely, brutal display for a fish that can't be retained...but even more blatant is that the fish is out of season (December 15th) and out of slot (54" + for retention)...which both call for IMMEDIATE RELEASE...no photos (certainly not posed ones) and no measurements.

  8. Let's remove ALL THE SLIME off the fish before we release it. Good god those guys need some lessons in handling.
