  1. Well I thought I'd share something fresh out of the shop this morning. This rod will soon be heading to BC to battle Saltwater Steelies on the Skeena watershed. I honestly have not been grinding builds out of the shop for years now, just a handful each year and my friend has been patiently waiting over three years for me to get this one under construction. His desire was for me to use a beautiful piece of stabilized Juniper burl but it was not cooperating with me, it kept chipping out so I convinced him into going with a piece of Big Leaf Maple burl. He liked it very much, I hope y'all do as well. Happy Saturday Folks, time to wind guides.

  3. Went back up this time with 9 guys at two outpost camps. Couldn't count the number of walleye this time but we'll well over 500. Great fish fry and fun was had by all. Biggest was 5lbs but lots of 2 and three pounders

  4. I would assume that air intake has a fitting that connects to some kind of "snorkel" either in the boat or higher up above the waterline. Yes, Bombardier is probably the most mis-managed corporation in Canadian history...they're fortunate to be headquartered in Quebec so the Liberals keep them afloat for the sake of political expediency. Hopefully the engineers there aren't complete dolts like the senior executives..

  5. The ArriveCan app worked great when I traveled to London ON and back in late June early July. The hardest part was setting it up the first time around. After that it was super easy. The border guards see your AriveCan info on the 'puter when they check your passport. The return trip I just had to put in the port and approximate date/time. Am heading to Alaska in September so I will get to do it all again. But who cares!!! I'm going to Alaska to slay chrome!!! 😁

  6. The Arrivecan app is a pain in the ass for Canadians returning home and is a total invasion of privacy for Canadian citizens especially seniors like myself who do not own a cellphone. Information was supposed to be erased after 48 hours after-entry and now they are looking to make it a permanent prerequisite to enter Canada for citizens and non. They say it is a good way to track the virus. We have been hoodwinked again folks
