  2. One morning on Simcoe, they were calling for showers. I made it out early and caught fish like crazy for 2 hours. I had my limit of whities in 10 minutes, played for lakers after. Nailed 7 of them in 45 min. Then the cracking and booming started, rain came down like hell raising waters. Found shelter til it was over. Went out after it had passed. Not a single bite after that storm. Nice pickeral there.

  3. Fresh trax’s point is actually so true I just forgot because it’s been a while since I’ve used an electric steer. but truthfully when I had a terrova I spent 90% of my time pointing my boat into the wind, hitting “constant” and then hitting “heading” effectively once you’ve aimed the boat and put the setting on a speed that gets you to crawl into the wind, the boat will literally drive itself. on really windy days fishing open water I still use this functionality like crazy rather than dancing around on the trolling motor as the wind attempts to throw the boat everywhere. Keeping the boat under power stop the boat from swinging sideways while rolling forward.

  4. Did you get ipiot? Assuming you did. I generaly use mine in auto pilot mode where it will maintain a heading helps cut down on the fiddling with the footpedal when working a section of shorline I find the standard a.p. works better than the advanced for this.

  5. Went to a shop where I had propane work before (they do rvs etc.) They spliced the line and placed the valve between the tank and the smoker. Much finer control now.The place was somewhere near Bradford I think. Pretty sure it was called Panda Propane...Can't recall if it was a work while I waited, or came back another day.

  6. I have used Rockey's Tackle Service in Orillia twice, and was very pleased. I believe they are one of the only two official Minn Kota service centers in Ontario. Rockey's Tackle Service 10 Kitchener St.. Building B Orilla, ON l3v 6z9 705 325-3525
