  1. Plastic grommets don't get along with the heat that the "blue wrench" would throw at it. LOL I'd likely start by disconnecting the shifter linkage and then try and shift the T case at the T case's lever. If it'll move down there, you'll know that the problem is external of the T case. The shifter linkage uses ball sockets to connect the linkage to the shifter arm and the T case lever. These ball sockets like seizing up; If that's the case you'll likely need a replacement linkage. You may get them off with out breaking them; but by the time you get the socket cleaned up and remove the rust build up. They be so loose on the pivot ball that they'll fall off? If this is the proper diagram for your truck, number 6 in is the linkage I'm talking about. It may also be the shifter assembly itself that's seized up? That would be something I'd need to see before commenting on it? Like the others have said soak the crap out off everything you think might be part of the shifting mechanism. If you're up for a ride to London; I'd have a look at it and see if we can get it moving again? I'll call your visit and introductory offer; if there's no parts required; I'll do the labor for you. D&S Auto 90 Bessemer d. Unit #6 London 519-681-3844. I'm about to leave for the day; but I'll be back here tomorrow morning by 7am. Dan.

  2. If going up to 31s, make sure they have good enough amp/hour and reserve capacity to justify the upgrade. I've seen group 31 marine batteries with less juice capacity than the 27s I have.

  4. I only have a 40 tiller yammy, but the troll control gets me down to 1.6 on flat calm water. I can get it much slower if theres some wind. I run my bowmount if I'm trolling the the main, just to maintain course and speed. The ipilot is great for that. S.

  6. Like you, I'm trying to beat the rush. I bought a bunch of stuff from Angling Outfitters, Cabela's, Sail, Fishing World and Canadian Tire already. Canadian Tire actually had a certain soft bait I couldn't find anywhere else. I picked up all sorts of flipping and EWG hooks, lines, and baits. Had to order tungsten flipping weights from China (way cheaper anyways).

  7. I know in my area, 100 miles north east of Toronto, they're quite common and I probably know at least a dozen people on my road alone that have them. I installed mine nearly 11 years ago and would never be without one again. For anyone in the country on wells and pumps I'd say it's some of the best money you could spend.

  8. I think you have started out a tad late. This has been going on for over a year now. Fishing & hunting gear, ammo, bicycles, boats & boating accessories, & athletic equipment are in short order and this is driving up prices. I am in the process of outfitting a new boat and have been buying up rods/reels, fishing tackle and boat accessories all winter because I had zero confidence that these items will be available come spring. Some items I needed to order out of the US or on Amazon because I could not find it in Canada. My first stop was Fishing World and/or Grimsby Tackle, then amazon, then I'm looking on-line (Canada or USA). Not one item purchased from BPS or Cabelas. - O'Brian Water Skis, Minnkota iPilot kit for trolling motor, 2 trolling rods and counter reels, planer boards, Navionics + card, snap weights, over $200 in lures and tackle, boat storage cover, rod holders (x4), new life jackets (x3), & a bow mounted fish finder.
