Gold Lake Kawartha Highlands (and surrounding)

Hey folks,

 

We might be renting on Gold Lake in Late July or early August. I think there's smallmouth but aside from that I can't find much info on it or the other connecting lakes.  They seem to be all fairly deep, so assuming  lakers will be there.   How's the fishing?  Thanks!
