hey new to this forum and new to salmon fishing hooked into a couple salmon last year but not consistent at all any tips for for a beginner  only running 14 ft aluminum  so can't go out more then 10 miles

First tip is don't go 10 miles out in a 14 foot tinner.

I would definitely be picking my fishing days according to the wind and direction.  I used to go in a 14', but stayed within 2-4 km.

I did it in a 12 ft Miro Craft. I picked those calm mornings out from the 4 sisters. Always caught fish. I was only out 1 mile max. LOL

I definitely pick my days   are you guys having more luck with riggers or dipseys

Only ever caught a laker on a dipsy, riggers are my tool.

Appreciate it only running dipseys and lead core right now only 1 over 20 lbs. Mostly just hitting shakers
