spincast Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 Had to attend some training in San Fran. What a city! This is one of the few times I wish I had something with some lenses, filters and power. As it was, I had to rely on the old P&S Fresh from the sea today - with fresh sour dough bread.... ummmmmmm for 15 bucks you get a 1 hour tour of the bay - out under the bridge, around Alcatraz and back, In the morning they do Salmon charters. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity take advantage of that - 150 bucks from 6:00 till noon. Not sure how many anglers they take, but they got a whack of rod holders around the boat! As it was a work trip I really had very little time to see it - gotta go back. with time
misfish Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 (edited) Your just mean,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I want this now Did you see any car chases on those road hills like in the movies? LOL Thanks for posting Edit to add, that soup needs noodles.LOL Edited September 12, 2015 by Brian B
spincast Posted September 12, 2015 Author Report Posted September 12, 2015 (edited) I knew that one would get your attention BB. East coast comfort food there...brought back all kinds of memories... Its called Cioppino. Amazing spicy garlic and tomato base with fresh fish, mussels, clams, calamari, dungeness crab and more. No need for noodles with the hot fresh sourdough - soaks up the broth doing some research on the 'net this weekend to find a comparable recipe. Edited September 12, 2015 by spincast
Rodbender Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 A nice wide angle lens would have been great for that trip Great shots
