Nine Mile Lake Muskoka

Hey guys, I use to fish this lake when I was a lot younger. Haven't been there in years, I remember catching lots if smaller LM bass and a few decent ones. Anyone fished it recently? How has the fishing been? Any pigs?

Haven't been on there myself, but any time I'm heading Muskoka way I check out Muskoka Water Web. Looks like there isn't much information on Nine Mile, but may help you avoid targeting something that's not there

Nine Mile off Southwood rd? Little fish, not much of any substance.

Ya that's the lake... I remember lots of fish and even a few nice ones but that was over 10 yrs ago

NineMile will produce smaller fish with the odd decent one thrown in, however if you take a canoe/kayak along and take the portage trail back into Turtle lake you will hook into some decent fish. If you head up give a wave to the three cottages on the left just as you enter Moon Bay,they were the first cottages built on the lake and have been in the family from day one. Will hopefully be heading up with my boys this summer at some point. Oh and watch for bears along the road in as someone hits at least one a year.

Up at Lake of Bays this week, smallies were hitting Pop Rs and wacky rigged seniors when things got slow. Huge body of water and I know why it's called Lake of BAYS lol.
