wuchikubo Posted April 8, 2015 Report Posted April 8, 2015 Hi All, It's been a while since I've had any chance to do any serious fishing and even less coming on here. I'm going to be going to blue mountain for a seminar this Thursday and Friday. I'm considering taking my fishing gear but am not sure what the conditions are there or if there will be any fishing opportunities from shore. Could someone please PM if you have any suggestions to try, if you'd like to post a reply, I'm good with that too, just don't post any specifics, thanks Stan
FloatnFly Posted April 8, 2015 Report Posted April 8, 2015 theres a few rivers in that area, just check the regs for open areas
Musky or Specks Posted April 8, 2015 Report Posted April 8, 2015 This is a great time of the year to fish the Mary Ward Shoals. Right at the feet of blue mountain at north winds beach. You don't need a big boat I've fished it in my pontoon and a canoe. Flat lining bows and lakers.
SirCranksalot Posted April 8, 2015 Report Posted April 8, 2015 Probably not good now, though. The ice is still hanging around. For shore fishing, the area around the C'wood grain elevator was ice free today, but if the winds shifts to the West it will probably jam up again.
