Not sure if this is a good deal or not; but CTC has the Rapala 8" gas auger going on sale this Friday.

$100.00 off the reg price of $499.

Just a heads up if anyone's been looking?

That one should go on sale for $200 off like last year. I bought mine probably mid January 2014 for $300 at the Oakville store. Individual stores sometimes have their own sales if they want to move these larger items as well, which may have been the case with my purchase.

Check costco first usually have good deals on augers by eskimo and can tire will price match

The current CTC flyer (Jan 30 - Feb 5) has the Eskimo 8" on for $399. It also has the Stingray Auger on for $299.
