Bernie Posted July 17, 2014 Report Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) Every year the young catfish school around the shoreline. I hooked up a camera on the end of a rod(it's a little shaky) to take a quick movie of them. Turned out OK for a first attempt. Edited July 17, 2014 by Bernie
Bernie Posted July 18, 2014 Author Report Posted July 18, 2014 About 20 years ago my step daughter and her friend went fishing in the bay here with a bunch of worms. Knowing they would like to catch something I pointed them out to catch catfish here in the bay. They returned with a livewell jam packed with catfish. They had a blast catching them. They still mention it from time to time. There may be a bag or two of them still at the bottom of the freezer
Roy Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 Great video Bernie. I can't tell the size from the clip....are they less than yearlings?
Bernie Posted July 18, 2014 Author Report Posted July 18, 2014 Great video Bernie. I can't tell the size from the clip....are they less than yearlings? Not sure when they spawn Roy, but I suspect they are this years brood.
