Joey Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 Some are not the best photos, but it all started this afternoon, that other site. I heard an commotion of crows outside, and I mean loud. I figured they were pestering a hawk like usual. The noise continued so I grabbed my camera and went out back where the noise was and as soon as I opened the door, the hawk took off from one of my trees with all manner of bird in pursuit. You can see in the pictures why!! IMG_3967 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_3968 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr IMG_3974 by Joeyfishing, on Flickr I made chase for a few blocks, with the hawk landing in a few trees along the way, and finally caught up with it in a forested park. You can see he still has the baby bird in his claws in the tree, all the while, crow, grackles and even Baltimore Orioles were harassing him.
