The story of a hungry hawk

Some are not the best photos, but it all started this afternoon, that other site. I heard an commotion of crows outside, and I mean loud. I figured they were pestering a hawk like usual. The noise continued so I grabbed my camera and went out back where the noise was and as soon as I opened the door, the hawk took off from one of my trees with all manner of bird in pursuit. You can see in the pictures why!!

I made chase for a few blocks, with the hawk landing in a few trees along the way, and finally caught up with it in a forested park. You can see he still has the baby bird in his claws in the tree, all the while, crow, grackles and even Baltimore Orioles were harassing him.

Then he flew off into the sunset, with his meal, birds giving chase until they flew out of site!
